We came to Limerick to learn more about Frank McCourt. Frank is a distant relative whom we had the opportunity to meet in 2006. We wanted to have more of a sense of where he grew up. While enjoying the beauty of contemporary Limerick, we were also able to move back in time with the help of our guide, Joe Coleman. He brought to life the places and times experienced by Frank. His depth of knowledge, the result of diligent personal research, brought the Limerick of Frank's day into focus. He made the tour an exceptional and worthwhile experience! We look forward to learning more about Limerick and Ireland through a book he has written, Down by the Bare Place.

Castle amazing. Husband took photos it was impossible for me to go in as there are too many steps and I am on a mobility scooter. The grounds are wonderful so much to see. Lovely train ride. Driver was really helpful.pretty cottages shops cafes and bars. Well worth a visit

The trip was fine, except some of the members of our school group got really sick on the way due to the high speed of the bus on the very curvy road. Also, in the description it said the tour would take 8 hours from Limerick. It took just 7, in the end. Plus the bus was 30 minutes late on its arrival in the morning. But the drivers were very nice and overall we enjoyed the experience.

I had always heard of the Cliffs Of Moher and had it on my bucket list. I was very grateful to be able to go and Paddywagon Tours was an excellent choice. I liked the narration of history and excellent driving. I loved the scenery along the way. It was thrilling to finally see the Cliffs of Moher, so majestic, a sight to behold. I love the gift shop in the visitors center where I started my Christmas shopping. The stop.off in the town of Buttrunny was another excellent choice to view the outside of the Bittrany Castle. A really great day and the reason we came.
