If you follow the E SIM installation manual step by step, your phone will soon be able to use data in Japan normally. Previously, I had to carry separate devices like Wi-Fi lunch boxes, but E SIMs are incredibly convenient.

Easy to connect. Just scan the QR code, go to Settings, select SIM Manager, and change it to eSIM. After your trip, go back to Settings, change it back to your original SIM, and your original plan will be used. I tried eSIM for the first time, and it was simple and amazing. I don't think I'll ever use a lunchbox again. But everyone should check if it works with their phones before buying. We were traveling with four people, but only two people were able to use the hotspot for the entire trip. However, data speeds were really slow at times. But that could be because we used the hotspot so often...

Excellent SIM card. We used it in the UAE and Oman. We got the 1GB per day plan—it was always enough for both internet and navigation. Search doesn't work well in tethering mode, but social media works fine. It's very easy to set up, the signal is good, and we're completely satisfied with the service.
