A day must be set aside for this charming town where ancient capitals, coastlines, and Zen-like tranquility intertwine!
🌊The different angles offering views of the blue sky and sea from Enoshima are truly therapeutic [heart emoji]. Luckily, we even saw Mount Fuji! 🗻 We explored the rock caves eroded by the waves – the Iwaya – said to be the birthplace of local beliefs. We lit candles while searching for stone Buddha statues, the echoes of the waves and the rock walls resonating in our ears…
🏀A Slam Dunk fan recreated a classic scene: Kamakura High School & Kamakura High School Front 🚉 The Enoden train 🚃 passed along the Shonan coast…
Since we were already here, we also saw the Great Buddha of Kamakura, a national treasure of Japan.
