What a beautiful day to the islands. I really enjoyed my time on this trip because we were a small intimate group and Jeremy our tour guide was great. He was really personable and very knowledgeable. It was almost like a friend was showing us around. The day started with a subway, then a vintage steam engine train, and finally the paddle steam boat. It’s pretty cool to see the last two. Herrenchiemsee was beautiful but I think I enjoyed the second island more. The second island was so idyllic and picturesque I could have spent the whole day there.

A great way to get from Regensberg to Walhalla and back again on restful boat trip along the Danube. The commentary on board is provided in German and English. It provides some interesting information and is unobtrusive. Great views of the river on the way there and back.

We thoroughly enjoyed the whirlpool cruise. Interesting information about the city was provided via audio guide. The sunshade offered ample shade on deck. Snacks and drinks were also available. Overall, an entertaining and highly recommended trip with wonderful impressions.
