Reviews: Helsinki: Ferry Between Helsinki & Tallinn with Eckerö Line
Guest User2026-10-14
I used this ferry for a solo trip from Helsinki to Tallinn. Both departure and arrival were on time, making for a smooth journey. The ship was much larger than I expected, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes, so I had no trouble finding places to eat or shop. There was live music during my trip, and I was able to enjoy exploring the ship and listening to the music without getting bored. The ship was fairly crowded, but there were plenty of free seats available. The toilets were clean, and there were charging stations, so I didn't experience any inconvenience in terms of facilities. The ship rocked slightly, but there was no significant rocking that would cause seasickness, so I was able to travel comfortably and with peace of mind. The journey was just over two hours, and since I was traveling alone, I didn't feel the need to reserve a paid seat. The free seats were perfectly comfortable. I think this ferry is more than just a means of transportation; it's a ferry where you can enjoy the journey itself. The two hours flew by, and I was very satisfied!
