I bought an e-SIM and activated it right away. I have a good 5G signal in central Pattaya. The good thing is that it's not a daily package, but an unlimited one (I think the description says 50GB, but I haven't checked, so I don't need that much).★

I used it on a trip to Bali and Hanoi. It was usable across countries, so I was able to connect to the internet immediately upon arrival, which was very reassuring. There was no need to search for a SIM card at the airport, and the setup was easy and smooth. The connection speed was stable, and I was able to use Google Maps, Grab, and YouTube without any issues. I was able to easily research things and use ride-hailing apps while sightseeing, which made for a stress-free experience. Even though it supports multiple countries, the price was reasonable and I felt it was good value for money. I would definitely use it again when I go to Southeast Asia.
