I bought a SIM card two days before my trip. I got a 30GB SIM card for 20 days to Korea/China. I thought it would be difficult to install, but it only took a couple of minutes. Nothing complicated. Most importantly, the SIM card connected automatically in China, and I had no internet issues at all! The same happened in Korea. No problems, the internet was flying, and I used a video app like this to call relatives in different countries, and everything was perfect. I'll buy more.

This sim works but it really lags and sometimes load very slow. I am able to use Alipay and DiDi app though its slow. If I tried to watch thumbnail videos on YouTube it plays then spins then plays again. As for making voice calls on WhatsApp, its no good because the call keeps freezing and reconnecting and the signal is too poor. I will not buy again, as Trip.com has better options.
