We did this tour with our 7 month old and the guides were great! The owner went out of his way to make sure we had a great snorkelling experience.

We booked this tour for my daughter and I. As we were the only ones, we went on their original inflatable which only fit 2 customers, the guide and the driver. So it was very custom and special. We left 20 min late, but they more than compensated with extra time, lots of fun and interesting island facts. The guide spoke English well. The short snorkeling at the end was excellent.

On my last day in San Miguel Island, my flight was in the evening, so I decided to do something during the day and booked whale watching at the last minute. Although I saw whales and dolphins, they were a bit far away, so it wasn't particularly amazing. And even though we didn't drive far around the island, the ride was still bumpy. I'm a land animal, so I can't go out to sea.

We had a fantastic time on this trip! It was amazing seeing Sperm Whales and dolphins. The guide told us lots about them and was very knowledgeable and friendly. We went with our children who were 11 and 7 and they both loved it! The food at lunch was nice, only 3 choices, a meat/fish/vegetarian and no children's options. However there were also 2 starters and a local cake for dessert. Lunch was enjoyable. Snorkeling at Villa Franco, was great fun, we saw lots of fish, it was a wonderful place to visit. Snorkels are provided. Overall we would definitely recommend this trip.

This was a really enjoyable tour. It was great to see the island from a different perspective and Luis and Miguel ensured that we were very well looked after. Luis provided an informative commentary throughout the trip. He clearly enjoys introducing visitors to the wonders of Sao Miguel's rugged coast and his enthusiasm was infectious. The small boat allowed us to enter caves which are not accessible to larger vessels and the tea and homemade biscuits were a nice touch. We highly recommend this tour.
