Things to do in Duluth

Generally speaking, there weren't too many surprises. I went there in winter, and it was a world of snow. Lake Superior in winter was a bit bleak. Canal Park was pretty good. You could see the entire bridge and the path along the lake. There was a nice little exhibition hall inside. Unfortunately, I went there at a bad time because it was only open on weekends! You must go to Duluth in summer because many attractions are closed in winter. In short, it was a nice, quiet port town.

Driving north along the lakeshore highway, you will enter the territory of Superior. There is a levee parallel to Second Street. The easternmost end is this memorable point. It is refreshing to look out at the lake from here.
