Staff was pleasant upon arrival and checkout. Is one of the cleanest hotels i've ever been to, free hot breakfast was a plus and pool and hot tub were terrific.
Very good service and staff. Great price and location with a lot of choices to eat and places to go. There's a pool and a patio deck outside to sit and talk with your friends.

The room was incredibly spacious, more like a suite. As soon as you walked in, there was a sofa, dining table, and TV, like a small living room. Further inside, there was a separate bathroom with a wet/dry area. Across from that, there was a dedicated wet bar area with a microwave and refrigerator. The innermost part was the bedroom, which also had another TV. While I probably wouldn't turn them on much, it's definitely worth mentioning that the room has two TVs. The location is very convenient, with a famous deep-dish pizza place right downstairs (though I personally didn't find it tasty). The hotel gym is also very well-equipped. The only downside was that there was no complimentary bottled water in the room, but that's typical for most hotels in the US.
Location was great. It was rainy but they do offer a free shuttle to take you anywhere which was wonderful. No free house coffee but there was a coffee maker in the room and front desk gave us a couple more packets as you only get 2 regular packets in the room. Pizza place across the street, Hoops, was great. They shuttled us down to Blue Duck restaurant. Awesome! Close to many places you can walk to.
It’s nice and clean. The front desk was friendly and even offered me a cookie. That’s quite nice surprise. Drove from kohler town and this was neared to Chicago airport and very convenient. I only found out there’s a huge Japanese mall 3 min and u can get great Japanese food.

The paint smell was a bit strong when I first entered the room. The room was large and spacious, but the cups were all disposable and there was no kettle or tea bags. The bedding was nice but a bit too soft.

KKaylaGreat location great view loved the breakfast the down falls that my jetty tub didn't work were supposed to send someone the next day never showed to fix and the bed was comfortable but whatever you have the bed on is a bad idea cause it makes so much noise just when you sit on the bed and need more grip on the porch and in by the pool I fell as it was wet outside on the porch and my son and including other children I had seen fallen by the pool area which kids are gonna get hurt I never recipient the extra stuff I requested when booking my room and false advertisement because the pics did not match up correctly when they showed me for when I booked my room the bedroom was different and was supposed to have couch in room and wasn't and my fireplace didn't work in my room so overall I would stay again if emenities got fixed I was partially satisfied with my stay...
GGuest UserThe hotel itself was decent. However, Ctrip completely failed to inform me that, besides the $15 city tax, there was also a $4 miscellaneous fee, and what's even more infuriating, a compulsory $25 charge. The staff member who checked me in deliberately withheld this information. After checking out, my card was then hit with exorbitant charges.
GGuest UserThis hotel was perfect! Located next to Riverwalk and basically everything in the downtown area. I had the King Spa River view room and it was amazing. The view was perfect and the tub was on point.
AAnonymous UserWe had a great stay at Intercontinental Chicago. we booked this hotel after a lot of considerations. Location is the best. Great breakfast buffet, my daughter loved the fresh strawberries and egg Benedict. This is going to be our go to hotel when in Chicago!
GGuest UserThe hotel facilities are complete, and the environment and location are great. The lobby on the first floor is always lively, with a bar and a bakery selling drinks and pastries. It's right next to a shopping mall, and it's also convenient to walk to the Magnificent Mile. It seems like there's no parking right at the entrance, so taxis always have to stop a bit further away.
