Hyatt Regency Chicago

This was my first time staying here with my kids. I originally booked a standard twin room but upgraded for $25 to a room on the 30th floor with a view of the Chicago River, which I was quite happy with. It's very convenient for getting to Millennium Park and other attractions. I'd definitely stay here again, though the price is a bit high!

Chicago is still stunning, with its skyscraper skyline and a lake that blends into the sky. The hotel is also quite upscale, offering a $25 voucher for use at the ground floor lobby. It acts as a direct cash deduction, not including tip, and is enough for a decent Western meal.

Great location and friendly staff. The only minor drawback is that the soundproofing could be a bit better.

The hotel's location is excellent! It's quiet and elegant, with complete and comfortable facilities. It's super convenient for sightseeing and tourism. The front desk service is also fantastic!

The hotel's exterior looks quite ordinary and a bit old-fashioned, but the interior and rooms are exquisitely decorated.

First, the hygiene wasn't great. Second, I specifically requested a quiet room, but they put me right next to the ice machine, which was incredibly noisy. Third, the breakfast buffet wasn't very diverse, and even though breakfast was included, I still had to tip. Lastly, they didn't offer housekeeping unless explicitly requested, even with a tip left on the nightstand.

The location is fantastic, right next to the Chicago River, and super close to Millennium Park, the Art Institute of Chicago, and Navy Pier. The room was quite spacious, but the service was just average.
