"As always, when I come to Changsha, I choose the InterContinental Hotel. Guest relations specialist Lily called me to confirm my arrival time, arrange the room, and provide important information, such as the lighting schedule for the outdoor light show, and the times and locations for breakfast and dinner. The room was clean and tidy, and the floor attendant greeted me with a smile. The room cleaning was meticulous and thoughtful. Just a short walk downstairs is the Xiangjiang River, which is very convenient for a stroll. The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich, with my favorite soy milk and fried dough sticks, and mini glutinous rice dumplings. The dinner buffet was also superb. There's a large underground parking lot, making parking absolutely convenient. Photo 1 is breakfast, Photo 2 is the Yunnan restaurant, and Photos 3 to 6 are the dinner buffet."

"Booked the river view suite, and the twin bed setup is quite unique – perfect for sharing with a friend without disturbing each other. The entire room is decorated in a cream color palette, offering a clean, soothing vibe without feeling over-designed. Smart toilet, automatic towel warmer – these little details are super convenient. And kicking back to watch shows on the projector is pure bliss. You don't even need filters for photos here; the built-in lighting system is genuinely good, with soft, layered light that makes every shot look great. The front desk staff provided recommendations that weren't just copied from the internet; the map and food suggestions felt very authentic and practical. Overall, it was a comfortable experience – not trendy, just very genuine and solid."

"Amazing stay! The hotel really thought of everything — free umbrellas, snacks and instant noodles available if you’re in a hurry, an amazing breakfast with lots of options, and free laundry with clothes ready the next morning. The staff were kind and helpful, and everything was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the massage service. It was quite expensive and unfortunately not a good experience at all. It’s a scam. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the hotel!"

The location is also perfect for exploring Zhangjiajie, with easy access to the main attractions. We stayed here with so much pleasure and would definitely recommend this hotel. "Manxin was the third boutique hotel I chose for my trip to Hunan. It's located in a village nestled in the mountains. The owner leased nearly a hundred acres of land to create the idyllic farm he envisioned. Several two-story buildings are artfully scattered amidst rice paddies and lotus ponds. An infinity pool offers unparalleled views of the distant mountains. The rice seedlings have just been planted, and in a few months, one can truly experience the scene described by Xin Qiji: 'A bountiful harvest is spoken of amidst the fragrance of rice flowers, as the croaking of frogs fills the air.' **Environment:** The hotel's environment is exceptional. Surrounded by distant mountains, perched on a gentle slope, every room offers expansive views of lush greenery. The rice fields are close by, and at night, the sound of frogs fills the air. Each room boasts a large balcony. Sitting there, breathing in the fresh mountain air, sipping a cup of tea or coffee, time seems to slow down. **Hygiene:** The hotel's hygiene is top-notch. Despite being surrounded by farmland, there are surprisingly no mosquitoes or other insects in the rooms, which is quite rare. **Facilities:** As a meticulously crafted guesthouse, it offers all the amenities of a high-end hotel, especially the infinity pool with its unbeatable mountain views – truly an inspired touch. Of course, as a 'wild luxury' (my own definition) hotel, to encourage guests to truly reconnect with nature, the rooms intentionally lack televisions. This thoughtful decision is commendable! **Service:** Being far from the city, service is particularly important for guests. The hotel provides dedicated butlers who promptly address guests' questions and requests. Their efficiency is high, usually responding to guests almost immediately. The hotel offers complimentary airport/train station transfers, as well as unlimited complimentary transfers to the Zimu Pass (middle gate) of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is incredibly helpful for guests. **In summary:** This is a uniquely positioned hotel. For travelers who love nature, appreciate peace and a slower pace, and have high standards for hotel quality, this hotel is definitely worth a short stay. **Final Suggestion:** Given its rural location, its own farmland, and the fact that it raises poultry and bees, the hotel should further leverage its unique advantages in terms of ingredients and cuisine. It could also appropriately guide local farmers to cultivate organic vegetables, fruits, and various eco-friendly produce, making a beneficial contribution to rural revitalization. I believe some guests would appreciate this."

"We had a relaxing time in Zhangjiajie which sounds hard to believe considering all the walking and stairs that’s done visiting the main attractions!! 😂😂 When we returned from a full on day sore and tired, we were offered massages (paid services) even late into the night. We were a short walk away from a variety of restaurants and street food which made it so convenient to explore without having to venture off too far from the hotel. The location was close to the airport and a short Didi ride away from the main Railway Station. Our view was stunning to say the least. With the room option we booked we got a personal butler which is what made our experience in Zhangjiajie smooth and seamless. She went above and beyond to arrange our activities, followed up to see when we were landing, upgraded our room for early check in and was always available to answer my few thousand questions at the most random times since making the booking. I booked the hotel in July and since then had been in touch with our butler who started making our arrangements far in advance. Her advice and suggestions with our itinerary made it easy to navigate Zhangjiajie. I thought I knew how to get around watching a few hundred TikTok videos but having a local overlook what I planned and ironing out the details made it that much easier. She was kind always smiling and just a pleasure to deal with. Lillie (our personal butler) you were amazing! Thank you for all your help, patience and suggestions. It truly made our visit in Zhangjiajie a memorable experience."

"I booked the Four Points for my parents' trip to Zhangjiajie, initially just for the peace of mind of a chain brand, but it turned out to be much more comfortable than expected. The twin room was quite spacious, with two large beds, so it wasn't cramped when the elders got up at night. The floor-to-ceiling window overlooked the mountain scenery, making for a pleasant start to the day. The biggest surprise was the breakfast; they even had freshly steamed Xiangxi pork buns, with a charming handwritten sign. The meat inside was substantial, and I ate them for two days straight without getting tired of them. The fruit counter was also well-stocked and fresh, with red dragon fruit, cherry tomatoes, and watermelon replenished frequently. The yogurt was room-temperature Mengniu, suitable for both elders and children. The bellhop helped with luggage, and check-in at the front desk was efficient. The sculpted pine tree at the entrance also looked exquisite. Overall, it's that kind of unpretentious yet perfectly executed chain quality. For traveling with elders, choosing such a hassle-free option is the most reliable."

"The breakfast hours are great! I had an early competition and needed to be there by 7 AM, so I was really happy that the breakfast opened at 6:30 AM. It saved me from having to buy food elsewhere. It's also super close to the exhibition center, just a 3-minute taxi ride."

"The location is convenient, close to the subway station, making travel very easy. The room has large French windows, providing excellent natural light and views. The bed is just the right softness, ensuring a good night's sleep. The cleanliness is meticulous, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The front desk staff are new, thoughtful, and attentive, responding promptly to any needs. The 4th floor has a 24-hour self-service laundry room and gym, which are very convenient to use. The breakfast selection is sufficient, and the Changsha-style rice noodles are delicious. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Changsha."
