The room offer nice view of the Chinese Garden courtyard that enhance the experience of living in perhaps ancient China traditional house. The breakfast is average, with something for everyone but nothing to shout about. The housekeeper are very diligent and ensure rooms are spotless tho dated in in room facilities like lacking smart lighting and water tap from the 80s - not so easy to operate. But the whole compound and atmosphere, daily free Taiji, hanfu experience - for one pax, in my opinion makes up for the imperfections

This hotel is located near Sanyang Plaza, making it super convenient for getting around. The views are fantastic, especially at night when you can see the city center's nightscape. The room is spacious, with a modern minimalist style, and the large bed is really comfortable. The front desk staff are lovely and very helpful; you can reach them through the hotel's WeChat if you need anything. There are also plenty of famous Wuxi local eateries nearby, like Sanfeng Bridge and Wangxingji. It's also a shopping district, so retail therapy is a breeze. There's even an anime-themed mall downstairs – worth checking out if you're into that sort of thing, it's quite fun! The overall vibe of the hotel is great, and the environment is excellent. Friends visiting Wuxi should definitely come and experience this high-rise hotel. Highly recommended! ✨

This was by far the most comfortable stay I've ever had. Building 8's decor isn't the traditional 'old money' or 'cadre' style of a five-star hotel; it's quite minimalist, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were excellent. When they learned I preferred a quieter room, they proactively upgraded me for free to a room away from the Quyuan (some rooms near Quyuan can be disturbed by early morning calls starting at 6:30 AM). The room's amenities, including the turndown service, were all top-notch and clearly superior to standard chain five-star hotels. The hotel's garden scenery is beautiful and well worth the price. When checking out, I asked to keep my room key as a souvenir. You can also request a customized souvenir key, but it takes 15 minutes to make, and I was short on time, so I just took the original. There are two main downsides: firstly, the express lane to Slender West Lake still requires a ticket. I don't quite understand why, when they offer free travel photography and hot springs, they don't include the 100 RMB entrance fee. Also, the express lane is only open from 8 AM to 5 PM, meaning you can't use it for a night visit to Slender West Lake. Of course, this isn't an issue with Building 8 itself but rather with the entire Yangzhou State Guesthouse group. The other flaw is that breakfast is quite average, and they mandate buying breakfast for two. For a solo traveler like me who also wanted to try the Three Spring Restaurant outside, it felt a bit wasteful. However, these minor issues don't overshadow the overall experience. For a relaxing vacation, and if you're not overly sensitive about the price, Building 8 is undoubtedly the best choice. On a side note, reservations for the Hill Restaurant and Quyuan are genuinely difficult to get. Quyuan's taste isn't necessarily better than the Three Spring Restaurant; its price mainly reflects the view. The Hill Restaurant's food, however, is indeed excellent, far better than the superficial offerings of places like the Peace Hotel.

This hotel experience was excellent! As an architect, I'm usually very particular, and I always look for hotels with good value for money and well-designed spaces. When I saw Wopai online, I was impressed by the room's window views, the quality of the materials in the photos, and the thoughtful layout, so I chose this hotel.
The overall living experience was superb. Apart from the minor details with the sink and shower drainage, the marble floor tiling inside the room was aesthetically pleasing and made for a comfortable stay. Instead of a kettle, the hotel provides a small water dispenser, which is hygienic and ensures you don't have to worry about cleanliness. The showerhead displays the water temperature and offers multiple spray options. I was initially concerned about ventilation because of the large window I saw in the pictures, but upon checking in, I noticed a small upward-opening window on the left, which provided good airflow and was covered by a screen. There are also wet wipes and disposable toilet seat covers next to the toilet.
The hotel is incredibly thoughtful, and it's rare to find such attention to detail. I highly recommend it to everyone!

The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. There are plenty of supermarkets, shops, and snack bars nearby. The front desk staff are incredibly kind and polite, handling check-ins and check-outs very efficiently. They were also patient and thorough when answering all my questions. The room was spotless, with no unpleasant odors, and all the toiletries were well-stocked. The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too hard, and the pillows were really comfortable. The common areas were clean and bright, and the overall environment was quiet and elegant. For its price point, the value for money is outstanding. The breakfast was also fantastic and delicious, offering a mix of Chinese and Western options, including freshly made wontons and noodles. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.

I stayed at Anshe Hotel in Suzhou for two nights and had a great experience! The hotel is very well located in Suzhou’s historic center, within walking distance of Pingjiang Road, one of the city’s most charming areas, known for its canals, traditional houses, tea shops, restaurants, and lively atmosphere. It is also close to Guanqian Street and a metro station, making it easy to explore the city.
The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Before my arrival, I sent a message asking for recommendations on local attractions, and they responded promptly with useful suggestions.
The hotel is a great choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and stylish place to stay while spending most of their time exploring Suzhou. It does not offer facilities such as a restaurant, spa, or gym, but that was not an issue for me given its excellent location. The room was comfortable, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including bathrobes and slippers. The hotel was quiet despite being close to many attractions, and the service was outstanding. I would definitely stay here again!

The location is excellent! It's right by the hotel entrance, just turn right from Exit 6 of Xinjiekou Subway Station. The Asia Pacific Tower is quite new, and the breakfast offers a great selection of Nanjing local specialties. The staff are very service-oriented; they greet guests whenever they encounter them around the hotel. Although Jinling Hotel primarily caters to business travelers, it's also a good choice for family trips. What really impressed me was when we were waiting for staff to get a souvenir stamp, the manager specially gave the children cute sycamore leaf pendants and fridge magnets, which made them very happy! They also provide bed rails and children's toiletries, which is a big plus for families. Guests staying at the hotel also get a 15% discount when dining at Meiyuan Restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations! The environment was clean and refreshing, and the room size was just right – not cramped at all. The service was attentive throughout my stay, and both check-in and check-out were very efficient, with no long waits. It's also super convenient for food, drinks, and getting around. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money. It's a great choice whether you're traveling for business or a short getaway.

During my trip to Changzhou, the Totoro Elf Hotel wasn't just a cold room; it was a 'home' where I could rest my weary body and soothe my soul. It made me realize that a wonderful business trip isn't about rushing from one destination to another, but about finding a gentle haven amidst your travels where you can shed all your defenses and simply be yourself again. Next time I'm in Changzhou, I believe I'll unhesitatingly choose this place again for another healing encounter with Totoro.

We switched from a hotel near the Grand Canal to this one, a classic five-star establishment. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, truly setting a vacation mood. The concierge service was outstanding. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect for a trip to Yangzhou; it feels like Daming Temple, Slender West Lake, morning tea, the Ancient City Park, and Yangzhou Banquet are all part of the hotel's amenities. The best part? Soaking in the hot springs after a long day of sightseeing is the most anticipated moment of the trip. We loved it so much that we immediately extended our stay for another night. Highly recommended! For a family of three, getting this level of service, scenery, and amenities for just 200 per person is truly excellent value. It's definitely our top choice for visiting Yangzhou with kids.

EEllasanheiThe room was incredibly clean, and right downstairs was Pingjiang Road pedestrian street. It was just a short walk to Shen Wansan's braised meat shop, and then quickly to the taxi stand. I stayed on the main road by the stream, and even though there were a lot of people passing by, it was very quiet once I closed the door. The camphor trees were blooming, and a lovely fragrance wafted in when I opened the window. The cleaning lady was very friendly; since I was staying for several days and playing tennis daily, I consumed a lot of drinking water. She would stock up for me every few days. The room layout was also great and very clean, and the bedding was super comfortable. I'm quite particular about bedding, but this experience was truly fantastic. I've found my spot; next time I come to Suzhou, I'll definitely stay here again.

WWorld wonders 探险者Nestled in the heart of a picturesque landmark, this guesthouse offers stunning views of Pingjiang Road at night. There's a cat café right across the street, which is a lovely touch. The breakfast spread is generous, and you can even do your laundry for free. GGuest UserThe room had so much character, you could tell the owner put a lot of thought into every detail. The service was also incredibly attentive; the owner tried their best to accommodate all our requests. Highly recommend! And since it wasn't peak season, the room rate was quite reasonable too.
LLvxingxiaodaren99The experience at Wuxi Suning Galaxy International Hotel exceeded my expectations! It's located right in the city center, in the Chong'an Temple business district, and just a 3-minute walk to Sanyang Plaza Metro Station, making getting around and shopping incredibly convenient. I stayed in a room on the 60th floor, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered panoramic views of the entire city. The scenery was absolutely stunning, especially as the city lights came on in the evening. The room itself was modern and elegant, with soft, comfortable bedding, and a well-equipped bathroom with a separate wet and dry area. The front desk service was just average, though.

GGuest UserWhen we arrived, the dam had been repaired, and we could see the beautiful view of Tianmu Lake from the hotel door. The hotel housekeeper contacted us in advance, and we stayed in the private soup room and gave us fish head vouchers. For other dishes, we ordered black rice and The small bamboo shoots are quite delicious when cooked, and the experience is still very good!
RRemilyWe were happy with our stay here. The room was nicer than it looked online, and the hotel was really clean. There are playrooms for young children that are free (3 rooms with some different toys in each room). The rooms are a bit old and tired, but my 2 year old enjoyed playing there and requested UK hi back lots of times. For parents it is just great to have somewhere for your kid to play and have fun, especially as the weather was very cold when we went! Outside there is a play area and sand digging pit. Location is walking distance from Tongli old town. Restaurant does evening buffet, and buffet breakfast. The food is fine, more Chinese than western, my husband really liked it and my favourite part was the Beijing roast duck at dinner. The pool is warm, with floats and rubber rings to borrow. There is a little land train, it takes a 10 minute trip around the hotel grounds and the cost is 20RMB for one adult and child. For me it was very boring but my son loved it 😂
The staff are very warm and friendly, everyone is very professional. Each guest is connected to a butler on wechat before they arrive so you can easily send a message and get some help. Our butler is Yu Ting and she helped us very professionally.
For me, the things the hotel can improve are (1) the animal petting zoo - by western standard the facilities for the animals are not very good, just concrete enclosure with hut. For foreigners, we do not really like this. (2) We had a problem with the other guests smoking in the hotel, eg in the coffee bar. When I complained to the staff they tried to stop the guests, but even though they repeatedly reminded them to stop, the other guests continued. In the end they arranged for me to move to a private room near the bar where I could avoid the smoking. I was very grateful that they found a solution for me and my baby, but I am speechless there are such guests who flagrantly break the rules and the hotel cannot stop them. We smelled smoke in some different public areas, so maybe this is a problem with several guests 🙁
Overall we are happy with our stay and it is a good place to spend a few days with kids.
WWeakburstMy overall experience during this stay was just average. The hotel's facilities were decent, but the service had significant shortcomings. During check-in, the front desk staff seemed unprofessional while checking my personal and identity information. They asked too many questions in an abrupt manner, lacking necessary explanations and communication, which made me feel my personal privacy wasn't fully respected. The waiting time was also quite long, as the staff seemed unfamiliar with the system, repeatedly verifying the same information and affecting the efficiency of the check-in process.
As a guest, I understand that hotels need to verify identity information according to regulations. However, I hope the staff can receive better training to improve their service attitude and professionalism while ensuring compliance. They should explain the reasons and procedures for identity checks to guests to reduce unnecessary concerns. I hope the hotel addresses this issue and further optimizes the check-in experience.

XXiaohuadidiThe hotel environment is great, and the rooms have just been renovated but there's no unpleasant smell. The service is excellent! I'd especially like to thank Tingting at the front desk, Wang Zhi from housekeeping for the beautiful flowers, Xiaoyun at the kids' club for helping me find my baby's water bottle, and Wu Dan for the generous fruit delivery. Overall, the service was fantastic! [smiley faces] It's also very suitable for children, as they can feed koi, bunnies, black swans, and ducklings. The children's play facilities are also abundant.
1110153****A clean and affordable hot spring hotel with few guests. The service attitude was genuinely excellent – friendly, attentive, and patient. The hot springs were also good; the key is that there weren't many people, making for a very relaxing soak. Soaking in the winter is truly comfortable. We were warm and toasty, and it wasn't cold at all walking back from the outdoor pools.
The breakfast was abundant with plenty of choices.
However, a few complaints: The family room was advertised to have a sofa bed, but it was very small, only suitable for a child. Once unfolded, half was a hardboard and half a soft cushion, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. The shampoo and body wash provided for showering at the hot springs were quite low-quality, and there was no conditioner. Also, the changing room air conditioning was insufficient, so it was quite cold while changing clothes.
