"Location is superb, 2nd to none along the touristy Beijing Pedestrian Street with restaurant located on the 5th floor. There are tonnes of good dim sum restaurants within walkable distance and attractions like big buddha temple within reach as well. I would also like to personally compliment the front desk personnel 钟思晴 who has been very helpful in digging through the huge loads of parcels when I have minimal information about the parcel that was sent to the hotel. Overall a very pleasant stay, probably will return again but not during the hot and wet seasons."

"Take some time to find this service apartment location, their check-in counter is at level 6 and there is nothing no sign to leads the ways up.
Do take note there are 3 Tower -A, B, C and unit number are the same. If you asking friends to visit you MUST advise the Tower.
The room we booked they claimed for 8 people, i believe they are referring beds not the room area. This unit has 1 toilet, 2 rooms with queen size and another 2 queen size bed occupied the hall and 3ft table, 2 chairs. Their very small kitchen allows 1 person to go in and there is a stove BUT no utensils and cutlery.
**Look at the ceiling patches here n there.
So if each of us bought 26-28 inches size luggage. How to clamp is the room!!

AAnonymous UserOur stay in the garden view room was delightful. The elegant decor and soft furnishings created a wonderful ambiance. The room was well-ventilated, with no dampness or strange odors, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The entire resort boasts beautiful scenery; the flamingo viewing area and dolphin pool are perfect for snapping Instagram-worthy photos. The hotel's water park was far less crowded than the one at Ocean Kingdom, making for a much more enjoyable experience. Strolling along the seaside promenade at sunset was simply breathtaking, creating an absolutely magical atmosphere.
The room cleaning standards were impeccable. The floors, windowsills, nightstand crevices, and even the bathroom glass were spotless, free of water stains or hair, and the bathroom had no unpleasant smells. All the bedding was fresh and new, with no stains on the pillows or mattress. The room's private balcony provided excellent ventilation, effectively mitigating any dampness from the sea.
The hotel's yacht shuttle service offered a unique experience, transporting us directly to Ocean Kingdom. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a culinary delight, with surprisingly delicious dishes made from fresh ingredients. The staff were friendly, and their service was prompt and attentive. At the buffet, all tableware was high-temperature sterilized, the food was neatly arranged, and staff were quick to clear table waste. The front desk staff were thorough in their communication, checking in on our stay and promptly resolving any issues. This vacation was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating, with thoughtful details showing genuine care.
Our stay was absolutely perfect. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back if I get the chance.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt calm, private, and relaxing. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and blends very naturally with the seaside surroundings, creating a quiet luxury atmosphere that immediately makes you slow down and enjoy the experience.
The room was spacious, modern, spotless, and very comfortable. We especially loved our room location because it was incredibly easy to step outside anytime and enjoy the fresh ocean air, privacy, and relaxing ocean view. Sitting outside during the morning and evening became one of our favorite parts of the stay. The outdoor patio and soaking pool made the experience feel even more special and peaceful, especially at night when the atmosphere became even quieter.
The room amenities were excellent, including complimentary minibar drinks, coffee machine, tea selection, bathrobes, ironing equipment, quality toiletries, and many thoughtful details that made the stay feel complete and comfortable. Everything felt carefully prepared and very well maintained.
Breakfast was honestly amazing every morning and became one of the highlights of our stay. The fresh colorful fruits, delicious noodles, healthy dishes, fresh juice, and calm dining atmosphere made every morning enjoyable and relaxing instead of rushed. Even though complimentary fruits mentioned in the booking were not provided in the room, we honestly did not mind because the breakfast fruits were incredibly fresh and delicious every day.
We also understand why check-in may sometimes take longer because once we entered the room, everything felt perfectly prepared, safe, clean, quiet, functional, and comfortable. We genuinely could not find anything negative during our stay.
Thank you and appreciation to all the staff for their warm hospitality, professionalism, kindness, and effort in making our stay memorable, peaceful, and truly relaxing. We would absolutely love to return again in the future.

GGuest UserI first went to Panyu Hotel, queued up for check-in, but after several minutes, neither of the two front desk staff acknowledged me. It felt like waiting in line at a bank. So, I turned to my phone, searched for nearby hotels, and found Grand Mercure with good reviews. Here's my experience:
The good parts:
1. They have 4 EV charging stations, and I didn't have to wait to charge (probably because I arrived late), which was one of the reasons I chose Grand Mercure.
2. Plenty of parking. I noticed there was a conference on the 6th floor these past few days, but there were still plenty of empty parking spots, so no worries about finding a space.
3. There's an outdoor swimming pool, and guests can swim for free. The pool hadn't closed when I arrived, but it was raining, so the staff said they'd wait for the rain to stop before opening it. The next morning, it wasn't raining, and I spent some time by the pool (didn't bring swimwear or a cap). Even though it rained the day before, the water was still very clean.
4. Customer service representative Xiao Mai (MAI) told me my room was on the 6th floor and that there was a conference upstairs. Concerned I might not find my way, she personally escorted me to the room and helped me adjust the temperature and lighting. Her service gets a perfect 10.
5. The room was quiet. Willow at the front desk, when I checked in around 6 or 7, offered me choices: a room with a pool view, a bathtub, or a balcony. I picked the one with a balcony. Although it didn't overlook the hotel pool, I could step out to get some fresh air and feel the breeze (thankfully, I had sprayed insect repellent beforehand; Guangdong mosquitoes can fly up to the 6th floor and fly high after a blood meal!). The mattress was soft and comfortable, not lumpy. The carpet looked old and faded but was very clean, probably having been recently cleaned.
6. Good greenery and abundant plants. The fountain turns off at night, so it doesn't disturb sleep.
7. The hotel has three interconnected buildings forming a '凹' shape. There are elevators in the connecting areas. If you're on the 6th floor, taking the scenic elevator down to your car is quite convenient, saving you a trip to the main lobby.
8. The Chinese restaurant on the first floor didn't seem to be open. Guihua recommended nearby Shun Jing Ming Lou, Shui Yun Jian, Da Shu Tou, and Hua Xi Yu (which sounds beautiful, and I ended up going there) for Cantonese cuisine. The prices in the vicinity aren't as high as in Shenzhen, so they're acceptable.
Areas for improvement:
1. Every time I need to exit the parking lot, I have to scan a QR code or call the front desk to enter my license plate number, which is quite inconvenient. The hotel should consider upgrading its parking system, similar to Chimelong's, where you input your car details at check-in, and it's valid until check-out the next day.
2. The cakes at afternoon tea were not very refined; they were too simple.
3. If it's your first time and you're staying on the 6th floor, I'd recommend having someone escort you, as it can be a bit confusing to navigate.
For me, the pros outweighed the cons. It really depends on personal preferences.

GGuest UserI usually love staying at InterContinental hotels, but this trip was truly the best in terms of both my personal experience and the environment! I was fortunate to participate in a training session thanks to Teacher Daqi's team, and that's how I ended up staying at this hotel. The hotel Teacher Daqi chose has been my favorite among all my travels so far. It was supposed to rain those days, but miraculously, the rain stopped, and the weather was beautiful. In the afternoon, I enjoyed the sea breeze on the beach and spent a long time just relaxing. It was breathtakingly beautiful and I'm so grateful. The hotel also offers yacht experiences and other recreational activities, and the food is delicious – I highly recommend it! I rarely write reviews voluntarily, but I'm truly grateful. If I have another chance to visit Shenzhen, I'll definitely stay here again! In fact, I'm very thankful for this hotel. It's clean and comfortable, and I'm very grateful to Teacher Daqi and everyone at the hotel. Thank you 🙏

The hotel itself is a miniature ecological paradise, with new sights at every turn and surprises hidden everywhere. The rooms are playfully designed, with meticulous details that rekindle a childlike wonder even in adults. The dining experience was exceptional, from the lavish breakfast buffet to the thoughtful late-night snacks, everything satisfied our discerning palates.
What truly moved us was the service from Jiang Ying. Her smile was as gentle as a warm spring sun. She not only thoughtfully planned routes for us to avoid crowds but also carefully informed us about the next day's weather changes, reminding us to add layers and bring an umbrella. Her attentiveness went beyond mere professionalism; it felt like care from a distant friend. The hotel's family-friendly facilities are excellent, allowing children to let loose, while the heated pool and fitness center provide adults with complete relaxation. The convenient shuttle service made exploring the park effortless. Waving goodbye upon departure, we already made a pact to return, because this place offers not only top-notch amenities but also staff like Jiang Ying, who treat guests like family, making the entire journey shine with human warmth.
Additionally, I want to extend a special thank you to the staff at the White Tiger Restaurant. I fainted near the restroom entrance, and the staff were incredibly helpful, responding very promptly. A female staff member with glasses stayed with me until we left the restaurant. The hotel medical staff also arrived quickly, and someone even helped pack porridge for me and lent me a shawl… The next morning when we went for breakfast, several staff members came over to specifically ask if I was feeling better and if I needed any further assistance… Thank you all!

Common areas are regularly cleaned at fixed times, and all facilities are routinely inspected and well-maintained. Check-in and check-out procedures are very quick. LLinglingThe room was spacious and well-equipped. The pool was clean, and the lifeguard was very attentive. The staff were very responsible and responsive to all requests. Special shout-outs to Muzi at the front desk and Shen Xia at the restaurant – both were excellent. My only suggestion for improvement is the breakfast; it was the same every day and became a bit tiresome. I hope this can be improved. I'll definitely come back again!

However, the buffet dinner selection was limited and the taste was mediocre, definitely room for improvement there. The water park was incredibly crowded during the holidays. With both hotel guests and day visitors, the experience was really poor. I suggest the hotel consider offering some kind of fast pass benefit for hotel guests to reduce waiting times. Otherwise, there's not much point in staying here, especially since the hotel prices have increased significantly compared to a few years ago, yet the experience isn't great. I understand that such a large park needs to accommodate day visitors, but they could take a leaf out of places like Chimelong in Zhuhai, where hotel guests get fast pass privileges, which can be factored into the room rate.
