"The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable. It's right above Xiaoshizi subway station, just a 3-minute walk away. Getting to popular attractions like Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, and the Yangtze River Cableway takes only a few minutes, so you don't waste any time on transportation. If you get tired from sightseeing, you can easily pop back to the hotel to rest your feet. Plus, there are tons of Chongqing specialty restaurants nearby. "This is a fantastic hotel, quite different from other national chain hotels we've stayed at. The staff have a vibe similar to a B&B – very friendly and welcoming, but also highly professional. It's my first time experiencing this kind of service, and I really enjoyed it. The room we booked was exactly like the pictures I saw online. Personally, I don't need a huge space for accommodation, and this room was perfectly fine for two people. Everyone says the cold in the south is unbearable, but my experience was actually pretty good; the indoor air conditioning and other facilities worked great. The only downside is that I heard the elevators are currently undergoing maintenance, so only two are operational. But it wasn't a huge issue for us since we always went out during off-peak hours. The main thing is that the hotel's location is excellent, and the river view is absolutely stunning."

Staying in the Cloud Mist Elegant King Room at Aspera Panorama Hotel (Jiefangbei Hongyadong Branch) was an absolute gem! The location is unbeatable, super close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and entertainment.
The Harman Kardon speaker in the room delivered superb sound quality, and the Dyson hairdryer was a pleasure to use – all the little details were perfectly thought out. The high-altitude view was spectacular, offering stunning cityscapes. The room itself was elegantly and warmly decorated, with a lovely cloud mist theme that created a great ambiance. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep.

"My room was on the 40th floor, offering a fantastic view, especially the beautiful night scenery. The duplex layout provided ample space, so it didn't feel cramped at all. The service here was excellent; upon check-in, they clearly explained how to use the elevators and air conditioning. "Five-star perfect review! I have to give a shout-out to Yan Yan! She was incredibly patient, thorough, and super reliable throughout. Her itinerary planning was extremely reasonable – never rushed, never crowded, and she helped us avoid all the tourist traps. She even thoughtfully reminded us of the best photo spots and times to avoid crowds. The scenery in Chongqing is truly breathtaking. The night view of Hongyadong is like a real-life Spirited Away, with lights reflecting on the river, leaving you speechless with its beauty. "This place is truly wonderful in Chongqing.
I booked this room category for only three people, but it comes with two sinks, two bathrooms, and one separate toilet.
The beds are very spacious-two people can comfortably sleep on one bed.
Before I arrived, the staff contacted me on WeChat to ask what time I would arrive and whether I needed the hot water in the small pool to be turned on.
Even though I arrived at 2 a.m., the staff still waited for me to check in.
At first, after reading reviews saying the hotel was hard to find, I felt a bit worried since I was traveling with my mother and checking in late.
Later, I messaged the front desk and they told me to book Didi to Panda Mansion, Gate No. 4.
Didi took me directly to that entrance, | just went inside, took the elevator to the 38th floor, and everything was very quick and convenient.
If I have the chance to come back, I will definitely stay here again.
The room is very spacious and fully equipped, with nothing to complain about.
The staff were extremely helpful and answered all my questions, even though I don't speak Chinese."

My accommodation experience for this trip was absolutely fantastic, so I definitely have to give this hotel a five-star review! The location is a huge plus – it's just a few minutes' walk to the commercial area and all the sights. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. When it was raining outside, the hotel even had umbrellas available for guests to borrow, which was a really nice touch. Overall, everything was excellent.

__SEM21365106****This hotel is perfectly located behind Hongyadong (equivalent to its 11th floor). Despite being on a high floor, it's very quiet. The front desk is on the 15th floor (see picture), which also features a viewing deck and a spacious lounge area perfect for relaxing. They even offered complimentary afternoon tea, and the breakfast restaurant is on the same floor. The room had wooden floors and was free of any strange odors. I just had to call for extra bottled water, and it was promptly delivered. Since my cruise departed at 5 PM, the hotel kindly extended my check-out time to 2 PM. I even spent an hour at the front desk and was offered afternoon tea again. Honestly, the service was impeccable.

GGuest UserI was only staying in a nice hotel for 1 night so I wanted to make it a good one. I did 4 hours research before deciding on this hotel. My criteria was that it had to have the best views of the city and of the river bank lights. It also had to have a bath tub and feel slightly extraordinary. Happy to report my research did not disappoint. I noticed that a lot of the most expensive instagrammable hotels were all in the same area and even the same building. This one is also on the 56th floor so you are guaranteed to be getting a great view depending on which side of the building the room you pick is. I chose one looking at the WFC building and the river bank and it was great. The hotel is all on one floor though and you can walk around and getting views from all side if you want. The room was super nice and definitely special. Not quite as novelty boutique as some of the other more expensive ones, but with the same view and great room still. As this is a small hotel there is no breakfast, but thats ok. The staff are also really nice and welcoming/helpful and give you a little goodie bag of treats when you leave. For price to what you get ratio, it hits all the marks.

GGuest UserThis hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Its location in the Jiefangbei area is very convenient, close to Hongya Cave and Bayi Food Street. The river view room indeed offers a great view of Qiansimen Bridge. The bathroom is spacious, and the TV in the room even allowed us to catch up on TV shows. The landlady's recommendation for Jiang Er Wa Chuan Chuan Xiang was absolutely delicious. On my last day, they even granted me a late check-out, which was incredibly thoughtful. The only minor drawback was the inconsistent and often disconnected Wi-Fi. Other than that, I was extremely satisfied.

It offered a river view and was conveniently located near Hongyadong, Line 8, and Chaotianmen Square. The service was also excellent; they even provide complimentary desserts like tangyuan, sago, ice cream, and cool jelly until 10 PM. If you can't make it back in time, you can inform the front desk in advance to save them for you. It was a very pleasant experience!

MM291917****I've stayed at this hotel many times, and it's consistently excellent. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the service is outstanding. I especially want to thank the front desk this time. A friend suddenly got severe gastroenteritis, and after getting medication from the hospital, the front desk specifically extended our check-out time until 2 PM. They even proactively asked if we needed any further assistance and said they would help as much as possible. A huge thank you to all the front desk staff and their supervisor. I'll be back in Chongqing in two months and will definitely be staying here again.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is pretty good, very close to Hongyadong, and you can even see it from the window. However, navigating Chongqing's hilly streets is truly challenging, especially when we encountered traffic control during the National Day holiday. Dragging our suitcases through a surging crowd for 10 minutes was an unforgettable experience.
The hotel rooms are quite old-fashioned, and consequently, the facilities are also dated. The windows facing the street surprisingly weren't double-glazed, so even at midnight, we could still hear the bustling crowds talking and car horns blaring downstairs, which definitely impacted our stay.
On the positive side, since we stayed during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, the hotel gave us a complimentary souvenir, which was a thoughtful touch.

GGuest UserOverall a great place. Beautiful rooms of the highest quality in every regard. The best features are the hot spring pools in the rooms of course. The showers are also great( two in every shower room) Great quality TV with great sound. Good selection of movies( not the latest releases) but all free. Food at the hotell restaurants had good standard. The best we have experienced in China. But for double the price we would pay for the same quality Chinese food in Norway. Surprisingly!
But keep clear of the pizza. It is actually just a frozen pizza type. Very small. We didn’t order any more western dishes after that, except for the Cesar’s salad. Which was good.
The place is old now and a bit worn. But it’s still is very very beautiful and high quality.
Where this hotell really shines is the services of the staff. Even if they don’t speak English and we don’t speak Chinese they are very patient.
To a Norwegian it is almost too much. They carry your bags even when thy are too heavie and many for one person.
They drive you you to and from your room if you have a villa.
We got an upgrade from ordinary room with hot spring pool and double bed to a villa! Because we found 6 small worms in the shower room.
I think this is pretty hard to avoid in such a sub tropical and humid environment.
But we reported it to the staff and they immediately gave us an upgrade with a complementary big fruit basket. We were blown away by this huge upgrade.
Only thing that was a bit negative and unexpected is the extra deposit fee which is quite high.
I think this should have been more clearly informed in the hotell booking and hotell online page.
We were a bit low on funds as Banyan tree was our last hotell stay in China before leaving and we were on a planned but tight budget.
We solved it of course with our Mastercard but it caused a bit stress for us.
And a second thing is that using Alipay instead of WeChat is more difficult at the hotell. ( not impossible)But without Chinese phone number you can’t use WeChat.
