"Hotel is really good but the only bad point is the lift, the elevator is always busy since there are offices in the hotel whole building and 3 elevators are not enough , you can be waiting the elevator for 10/15min before entering. The staff is helpful and everything was ok during my stay apart that the first day I received a room that was much smaller than the one I paid for"

"The building is on the corner of the block and shares with different brands, currently the receptionist are in levek 4. The room is nice, clean, and spacious. However, the mirror near the bathtub can cause dizziness as it's not a normal flat mirror. The bed is also a bit hard for our liking. However, the plus for this place is it's super close to Mountain City Alley. Also, they give you some.e local snacks and a magnet, which are very appreciated as tourists. If I want to stay in that area again, I would come back to this place. The front desk staff are also highly responsive via WeChat. The photo is taken from our hotel room looking down onto Mountain Alley."

When you come to Chongqing, choosing the right hotel is essential. This time, I booked the Qianhe Rishan Sky View River View Hotel in Jiefangbei. The large floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides provide a stunning view of Chongqing's nightscape.
The central location is super convenient, very close to Jiefangbei and the Eye of the Cloud observation deck. The modern decor is clean and odor-free, and there's even a large bathtub for soaking. They provide milk bubble bath and disposable bath liners, which is super safe and reassuring.
They also offer family suites, parent-child rooms, tatami rooms, and private hot spring room types. The staff are warm and attentive, available 24/7. When you visit Chongqing, you definitely shouldn't miss this gem of a hotel!"

"Seya Hotel (Jiefangbei Branch) truly exceeded my expectations in so many ways; it's definitely the kind of place I'd happily return to.
First and foremost, I have to commend the personalized butler service – it was incredibly thoughtful and thorough. Both Kang Kang and Xinyuan were attentive and quick to respond, handling everything from check-in to daily requests with such care that I felt truly looked after. Room service was equally excellent, with great attention to cleanliness and detail.
The location is another huge plus. It's right near Jiefangbei, and just a short walk to Bayi Road Food Street, offering an endless array of snacks. Reputable spots like Zhangji Xinglong are also nearby, making it incredibly convenient.
The room amenities are impressive too – a powerful Bluetooth speaker, a private spa, and a massive 100-inch 4K projector with access to a wide selection of movies and the latest TV shows. Staying in at night was never boring; the experience was fantastic.
And I highly recommend trying their Storm Spa; it's an absolute must-do that really elevates the entire stay.
Overall, this hotel surpassed my expectations in terms of service, location, and facilities. Next time I'm in Chongqing, I'll definitely be staying here again."

"The S. Island Hotel had breathtaking views overlooking the riverside and cityscape. The king bed was incredibly comfortable and made our sleep seamless. The room was clean. They don’t provide breakfast, but they do offer free coffee, tea, eggs, rice porridge, and some snacks—so overall, great service. They also provide complimentary wash/dry service, which was a nice bonus.
Language can be a bit of a barrier when communicating with the staff, but they genuinely try their best to help at all costs.

"This private apartment is in a great location, right in the centre of everything and easy to get around from. Just be aware that the street it’s on doesn’t allow cars so if you taxi you would need to walk a little bit to get there (but not too far). The (quite basic) room I had was on level 33, reception is another level. The couple of elevators to get there took a long time and were always very full. Wifi worked ok most of the time. The room was fine for a short stay if you are going to be out a lot seeing things. There’s no door to the bathroom, just a fabric curtain which was fine for a solo trip but might be uncomfortable if you share it with someone."

GGuest UserThis hotel is right in the Eye of the Sky building, which makes getting around super convenient. It's only about ten meters from the Xiaoshizi subway station exit. Plus, it's really close to the cross-river cable car and Dongshuimen Bridge. Just a short walk over the bridge takes you to Xiahaoli and Longmenhao Old Street. One night, after having hotpot in Longmenhao, we just walked back across the bridge to the hotel. The front desk service was excellent; we got back late, and they left the trash bags we requested right on the front desk for us to grab. The hotel environment was quiet, and we didn't encounter any issues with unsolicited flyers or ads.

SSubaiyianThe location is absolutely unbeatable. Right downstairs is the Xiaoshizi Light Rail Station, serving Lines 1 and 6, making getting around incredibly convenient. It's just a stone's throw from Hongyadong, and you can walk to Jiefangbei and Bayi Delicious Street in about 5 minutes, so you won't need to go out of your way for shopping, eating, or sightseeing.
We paid an upgrade fee at the front desk for a hot spring tub room, which was very comfortable. The room was clean and cozy, with all the essential amenities, making for a truly relaxing and reassuring stay.
The 24-hour butler service was a thoughtful touch, always responding promptly to our daily needs. Plus, the unlimited laundry service was a huge bonus – no need to pile up dirty clothes while traveling! After a tiring day of exploring, soaking in the hot spring tub at the hotel in the evening was just pure bliss.

RRuyundepiaoA few friends and I came to Chongqing for a trip, and on our last day, we arrived at Hongyadong in the evening. This hotel looked good, so we casually chose to stay here. To our surprise, the front desk lady greeted us with a smile, speaking softly and kindly. This wonderful first impression made us choose the hotel without hesitation. During check-in, the lady thoroughly explained everything to us. When we opened the room door, we saw a neat and clean space. After 8 PM, they even offered a bowl of nourishing porridge, which was comforting and good for the stomach. For breakfast the next day, we sat by the window, with the famous Jialing River below us and Chongqing's financial district across the river – a truly unique view. The entire dining area was clean and hygienic, and both the male and female staff provided excellent service, making us feel comfortable and warm. I took a few photos as proof.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right opposite the Twin Towers, offering expansive views and beautiful scenery, especially at night. Behind the hotel is the White Elephant Street area, making it super convenient to get to Shibati as well.
The hotel pool was the biggest surprise of our trip to Chongqing! It has three floor-to-ceiling glass walls and a translucent ceiling, making it incredibly bright and airy. We'd go out sightseeing in the morning, come back for an afternoon nap, and then the kids would have a blast swimming and playing in the water! 🏊♂️🏊♂️🏊♂️🏊♂️🏊♂️

LLishan HoHad a really wonderful stay here — easily one of the highlights of our Chongqing trip.
Service was exceptional from the start. The team reached out via WeChat even before our arrival and helped to arrange all our pre-check-in requirements smoothly, which made everything very seamless.
We were also pleasantly surprised to be upgraded from a Hot Spring Retreat Room to a Hot Spring House, which came with an additional terrace — such a lovely touch and made the stay even more special.
The in-room hot spring was definitely a highlight. Super relaxing, very private, and the amenities provided were thoughtful and of good quality. The overall environment is beautiful and peaceful, with very nice scenery all around — perfect for a quiet getaway.
Food was great as well. We had to check out in the middle of the night, and the staff kindly helped to prepare a takeaway breakfast for us, which we really appreciated.
There was also a complimentary photoshoot experience with Chinese imperial costumes, including 5 free shots. Additional edited soft copies are available at 25 RMB each — a fun and memorable activity to have during the stay.
Overall, everything from service to facilities exceeded expectations. Would definitely come back again.

EElsa1119山This hotel is a great value when visiting Chongqing, right in the heart of the People's Liberation Monument Center, next to the 18 Stairs, Lu Zu Temple, Hongya Cave, Kuixing Tower and Dai Jiagang. On the left of the downstairs is the Bayi Eating Street. The food is fresh and rich in categories. You can start shopping mode when you go out. The geographical location is absolutely perfect. The front desk (Xiaoyan) was efficient, friendly and patient and had a free room upgrade. The rooms are well laid out, clean and unsmelly, the beds are soft, the toiletries are online and the facilities are well maintained. The public areas were cleaned every day and the overall experience was excellent. I gave a 5 star review directly. I have already recommended it to my friends. I must stay when I come to Chongqing!

Jjade 玉Pretty good, it's a Home Inn. It's conveniently located right across from Hongyadong and near Jiefangbei. Our room was on the 16th floor, and maybe because of the high floor, it wasn't too noisy at night. However, there was no air conditioning available this season, only heating, which is centrally controlled. I requested a fan, but it still felt stuffy and hot, causing me to wake up several times during the night. It has its own elevator, which feels a bit safer.
