"I was assigned to stay here because of a flight delay and received a dinner voucher for the inconvenience. I'm not sure if the restaurant is outsourced, but their attitude was absolutely terrible, treating people like beggars. I just don't understand, if you can't afford to play, then don't play at all! You give us a dinner voucher, but then we go there and are told we can't order this and can't eat that, only one main course and one fruit allowed. What's that about? The hotel's hygiene was mediocre, and the soundproofing was poor. The front desk lady was very cold. The only upside is that it's just one metro stop from the airport."

"I recently stayed at Novotel London Canary Wharf and it was one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I’ve had in London. From the moment I checked in, the atmosphere felt modern, welcoming, and effortlessly comfortable. The highlight of the stay was definitely the view from my room. Waking up to the Canary Wharf skyline and watching the city lights come alive at night was incredible. The floor-to-ceiling windows made the entire room feel bright and spacious, and the panoramic cityscape gave the stay a real luxury feel. Another standout experience was visiting Bōkan, the hotel’s restaurant and rooftop bar. The views from up there are absolutely breathtaking , you get a stunning panoramic perspective of the whole of London, from Canary Wharf to landmarks across the city skyline. Whether during sunset or later in the evening, the atmosphere is unforgettable. The combination of great food, drinks, and those sweeping views made it one of the best parts of the trip. The hotel amenities were also excellent. The pool was clean and relaxing, perfect after a long day exploring or working in the city. The gym was well-equipped with everything needed for a proper workout, and the sauna added an extra touch of relaxation that really elevated the overall experience. Overall, Novotel London Canary Wharf delivers the perfect mix of comfort, modern luxury, amazing facilities, and spectacular London views. I’d happily stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Canary Wharf."

"Room was clean and spacious, the beds were very comfortable. The room was ideal for 3 of us - we had a mini cooler. However, despite 3 people being on the booking, they only provided 2 towels. This was quickly rectified, but this attention to detail would have been easier upfront. Early check in is also expensive. Be aware that the last DLRs back end just before 1am so potentially not the most ideal for a late night, but overall we had a great stay and I’d definitely return"

"Overall, the hotel is pretty good. It's less than 100 meters from the subway station. From Heathrow, take the Elizabeth Line to Custom House, then transfer to the DLR and go one stop further east. The hotel is right outside the station (Google Maps' route suggests walking 1km without transferring). It takes about half an hour to get to the city center. There might be some payment delays when using Visa and Mastercard credit cards issued by mainland Chinese banks at the hotel."

"The hotel is located by the River Thames. My room had a view of the London Eye and Big Ben, though the angle wasn't perfect. The hotel facilities were also good. The nearest tube station is a short walk away, making getting around by subway very convenient. There's also a train station nearby, but it's largely useless as there are almost no direct destinations from there. Dining options in the immediate area are limited, so finding food wasn't very convenient, and the hotel's own restaurant wasn't particularly good value for money. However, there are supermarkets nearby, making it easy to buy groceries. I had a rather alarming experience with a false fire alarm during my stay. I was resting in my room when the building's fire alarm suddenly went off. I had to walk down from the 10th floor with other hotel staff, but even they seemed unsure where the exit was once we reached the ground floor. Meanwhile, the staff on the ground floor seemed completely unfazed and were carrying on with their work as usual. In the end, no one knew what caused it – it turned out to be a false alarm, I suppose I can just consider it a fire drill."

"To get there from the airport, you'll need to take a shuttle, which costs extra. You can find the T2/T3 Hoppa at the airport (not at the hotel). If you exit the hotel and turn left, there's a petrol station, and just in front of it is a bus stop. You can take bus 278 to get to the Underground. Everything else was good, and the pasta at the Italian restaurant was delicious. However, there's not much to walk around and see nearby."

"I stayed here last year and had such a great experience that I decided to book again. The room was spacious and very comfortable. It's also conveniently located for getting to the airport, and there's a bus stop nearby, which made getting around by bus super easy. The room was clean and had a modern feel. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a great variety of options."

"First time staying here and I will def be back again me and my partner initially booked for a night but ended up staying for 2 ! loved the pool sauna steam room and the room service was top! The staff were soo friendly and helpful and a shout out to Craig who was very helpful, friendly and efficient ! A very friendly welcome from all of the staff and I could have stayed longer. Also good location and good use of amenities and rooms were equipped with essential’s Very please with hotel inn express Sutton"

"The room was very clean, and the breakfast was good – a typical English breakfast. After a long day out, having dinner at the hotel was also a nice option. The location is very convenient for getting around; the VA Museum is right across the street, and the subway station is just a few minutes' walk away."
