Hotel near Changping Valley/Ethnic Customs Street,Xiaojin
The hotel is located in Changpinggou Scenic Area, one of the three core scenic spots of Mount Siguniang. It is situated beneath the four snow capped mountains of Mount Siguniang at an altitude of 3300 meters, with magnificent views of the snow capped mountains and the Rizhao Golden Mountain outside the window. Each room in the hotel is equipped with full house underfloor heating and oxygen concentrators, eliminating your worries about cold and high fever. For the vast majority of people, an altitude of 3300 meters is generally suitable for moderate exercise. Changpinggou Scenic Area is the best location to admire the four snow capped mountains of Mount Siguniang. The highest peak, Yaomei Peak, has snow all year round. Opening the curtains in the morning, you can see the magnificent snow capped mountains, and on sunny days, there will be a view of the golden mountains with sunshine. The hotel rooms are of first-class quality, equipped with Marshall sound system, Dyson hair dryer, Balmain hair care, high-quality mini bar, and Jinkoer latex mattress, allowing you to sleep comfortably even in 5A level scenic spots. Full butler service, driver pick-up and drop off service at Changpinggou Tourist Center in Siguniangshan Town, taking care of your travel throughout the process. The hotel is about a 17 minute drive from Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area, which is convenient to reach. Guests heading to Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area need to purchase tickets in advance. Looking forward to meeting you under the snow capped mountains.

"The B&B boasts an excellent location right within the Changping Valley scenic area. The rooms and the restaurant directly face all four peaks of Siguniang Mountain, with the 'Little Sister Peak' (Yaomei Peak) being particularly prominent. We were incredibly lucky to witness snow-capped mountains, a starry sky, and even a glimpse of the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' (Rizhao Jinshan). The B&B rooms are well-equipped, featuring underfloor heating, oxygen generators, and humidifiers. The underfloor heating was constantly on, ensuring the room was warm the moment we stepped in. The decor was cozy, and each room had a private courtyard, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Although I didn't dare use the bathtub at this altitude, it seemed to be of high quality and very clean. A comprehensive set of good quality disposable toiletries was provided, along with complimentary snacks, beverages, and fruits. The B&B offers three meals a day. Breakfast was rich and varied; both the rice noodles and regular noodles were delicious. The Sichuan fermented tofu with plain congee was particularly excellent. On our second day, when we visited Haizigou where there are no dining options, they even packed us a simple lunch for free. The freshly ground coffee at breakfast was also a nice touch. The ******* hot pot for dinner was quite good and warmed us up. They also offered simple Chinese dishes and pizza. What truly stood out was the service – incredibly thoughtful and responsive. All our requests were met. They provided car pick-up and drop-off to designated locations, saving us the worry of driving on mountain roads ourselves, which was a huge plus for female drivers. They actively helped with luggage, bringing it directly to our room. On the day we checked in, we had first traveled from Jiaju to Shuangqiao Valley, arriving at the B&B quite late. We had pre-ordered dinner, and upon arrival, feeling ravenous, the kind lady at the front desk thoughtfully suggested we eat first and even offered us glucose water to prevent altitude sickness. They were always ready to answer any questions about sightseeing and transportation, offering helpful tips. Upon departure, they gave us small gifts and proactively asked for suggestions for improvement, humbly accepting feedback on the tastes of friends from different regions. Overall, the experience was fantastic."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly across from the beautiful Jinjiang River and the Anshun Bridge-Hejiang Pavilion. It's also very close to Taikoo Li. Stepping into the hotel from the scorching heat outside, we were met with cool comfort and that familiar, pleasant scent. Our river-view room offered an unobstructed view of the stunning scenery outside. The room itself was clean, comfortable, spacious, and bright, and we were even treated to welcome fruits and local snacks – truly wonderful! Although the hotel is a bit older, the service and maintenance are still top-notch. The dinner buffet even includes hot pot, and guests get a discount. The food was delicious, with à la carte options, roast duck, and local specialties like Qiaojiao beef. There was a great selection of drinks, including white and red wines, and refreshing ice cream. The restaurant staff were attentive and friendly – definitely worth a visit! Breakfast was also excellent. The entrance to the Rong Restaurant is adorned with numerous pandas, which is absolutely fantastic!"

"I went there sight unseen and I wasn't disappointed. When I booked, there were only two reviews, but it said the place had just opened, so I went for it. I booked a room in a 4-girl dorm, but I was alone. I was greeted by Ms. Xu Yan Peng, who took excellent care of me. She speaks very good English and didn't hesitate to give me her number so I could contact her directly if needed, as not everyone in the hostel speaks English. The room included a well-stocked buffet breakfast, and everyone was very friendly. Honestly, I highly recommend it. The only slight downside is the slightly hard bed, but I think that's the same in all hostels. The location is also very good, especially if you want to hike Mount Emei."

All rooms come complete with a full range of amenities such as intelligent water dispensers, smart toilets and mini fridges, and are furnished with premium King Koil mattresses and zero-gravity pillows to ensure a restful sleep for every guest. In the meantime, the hotel has designed a variety of distinctive room types including private hot spring rooms, giant screen laser theater rooms and rooftop garden rooms, catering to the personalized needs of different guests. The hotel also features a selection of leisure areas including a garden, a café and a lobby bar. Its front desk operates 24 hours a day, offering complimentary tea, candies and freshly ground Luckin Coffee for guests. The hotel’s breakfast restaurant serves a Chinese and Western buffet breakfast with an extended serving time from 7:00 to 12:00, so guests need not worry about missing it even if they sleep in. The hotel warmly welcomes families with children and is equipped with a complete set of family-friendly amenities such as children’s bathrobes, slippers, toothbrushes, as well as children’s books and audio-visual materials, making it an ideal choice for family trips.

"No need to venture out to the suburbs! Enjoy a private hot spring soak right in the city center – pure bliss! ♨️ After countless overtime hours, I was completely drained. So I dragged my partner to Crescent Supreme for a much-needed day of rest. 🏨 The hotel is right by Kuanzhai Alley, so stepping out means authentic Chengdu snacks are everywhere – perfect for a casual stroll and eat. The hotel's decor is very modern. The moment you walk in, you feel instantly at ease. The entire room is voice-activated smart-home tech; just a shout is all it takes to turn on the lights or close the curtains – lazy people will absolutely love it. ♨️ It's rare to find rooms with private hot springs in the city center. A good soak in the hot water melted away all the fatigue from work. 🌙 There's also a heated rooftop pool on the top floor. The crescent-shaped lights paired with the evening breeze make for amazing photos. In the morning, the buffet breakfast had a huge variety. Not wanting the usual buns and congee, I DIY-ed a chicken popcorn rice noodle bowl that was so delicious I had two servings. No need to travel far to the outskirts; you can comfortably enjoy a hot spring soak right in the city center. This place is truly perfect for relaxation and travel."

Hotel near Bifeng Gorge,Ya'an
"Apologies, I promised the owner I'd leave a review sooner, but I completely forgot once I returned to Chengdu. The hotel is nestled deep within the Bifengxia scenic area, a high-end guesthouse that beautifully blends old structures with newly built sections. We stayed in the 'Fuyao Zhi' room (pictured in the second image), which I believe is part of the newer section and incredibly stylish. The large windows offer stunning views of distant mountains and another traditional residence. The hotel boasts excellent facilities, including various indoor activities (like calligraphy copying and tea ceremonies) and an outdoor forest activity space surrounded by tea gardens (featuring treehouses, trampolines, etc.). The front area also offers outdoor activities such as bonfires, barbecues, and karaoke. All the staff, especially the guy at the front desk in the burgundy sweater, were incredibly enthusiastic. The housekeeping was also meticulously done. The young man with glasses who handled our transfers to and from the Bifengxia scenic area was incredibly punctual. It's clear that both the staff and the owner put a tremendous amount of effort and passion into their guests and the guesthouse, which was the most impressive aspect for me. While the overall price point is on the higher side for Bifengxia, the experience was absolutely outstanding. I can honestly say that this stay elevated the joy and comfort of our entire Bifengxia trip."

GGuest UserI stayed here for a business trip, and I added the WeChat of the hotel's personal assistant. Every time, they would help me prepare the invoice and water bill in advance, which was super convenient. The hotel now has a self-service laundry machine on the first floor, which is really handy for both leisure and business travelers. Food deliveries can also be brought to the room by a robot. Although the hotel might have been open for a while, its location is truly excellent.

JJinshuiWe stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities. 1. Breakfast The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit. Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining. 2. Gym & Pool This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. 3. Laundry There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room. Package Perks We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use. Room & Noise We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning. We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise. 4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”) We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup. It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light. Smoking Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke. Location & Surroundings The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy. Overall For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

GGuest UserHotel was in a relatively good location. Within walking distance there are malls and food stalls. Opposite hotel was the Sichuan opera theatre. Recommended to watch at least once. Hotel is able to get the tickets at cheaper rates. For the two bedroom suite, it is suitable for family of 5 with 1 child inclusive. There is one master bedroom which is directly linked to the toilet with a bathtub. Other room and second toilet is separated. Kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery etc. detergent is also provided for the washer. Refrigerator has normal and freezer compartment. Balcony is locked but you can sign an indemnity form to open it. Slippers provided are of good quality and house keeping is good. Only downside is the different little issues for different room we stayed in like hot water tap not working. hotel is connected to a mall, the HK cafe there is recommended. Food is good. Also the bakery sells really good chocolate bun. You can find it right after u enter the mall through hotel lobby. The best thing of course was Tina, who always served with a smiling face and takes the initiative to add you on WeChat to cater to your queries whenever you need. she was also the one who helped to provide breakfast for our child whose breakfast was not included. The other lady who served us on the first night told us we had to pay. It was a very nice gesture from Tina. look for Tina if u stay here, she will be a great help. For the breakfast,it is not the most fanciful but sufficient. Food changes daily but some food type stays the same. They have a paper where you can order noodles, egg omelette, pancakes and waffles. It will be served to you directly so thats a nice touch. They even provide disposable cups for the coffee machine with lids so that you can bring it out if you are in hurry or needed more drink. On weekday and weekend breakfast, the crowd was just nice unlike some hotels where it feels overwhelming and overcrowded due to the huge influx of tourists and there is no need to worry about food running out. Only downside for us is we can’t differentiate the type of meat. We don’t eat beef but it doesn’t state on the labels so we had to ask each time we wanted to take meat or dishes with meat. It is easy to call for DIDI (their taxis) from the hotel. If you have 4 pax or less, hotel can call for you but more than that, you have to arrange yourself. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a comfortable stay. Definitely you can’t compare the price to a cheaper hotel. You are paying for quality over here.

GGuest UserThe coziest of hotels located very well within Chengdu. We had the pleasure of receiving the most wonderful service, as well as tips and recommendations from Arnold and the rest of the lovely staff at Grey Parrot. Without all of this, our trip to Chengdu would not have been nearly as nice. Thank you so much!🤠 The café/bar adjacent to the hotel serves great coffee, drinks and cake! And we also got the loveliest little farewell gifts. If you are ever in Chengdu, you should really consider staying at Grey Parrot.🐼

GGuest UserThis onsen hotel was absolutely wonderful. Perched on the hillside, it boasts huge floor-to-ceiling windows that perfectly frame the mountain views, and the room temperature was just right. The private hot spring bath was spacious with a rich mineral scent, and all the facilities felt brand new. Coming here to unwind on a weekend was pure bliss. The staff were all lovely too – always smiling, friendly, and quick to greet you. The afternoon tea and goodnight drinks were a nice touch. It's off-season now, so it's quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxation. They even gave us a thoughtful parting gift, which was a nice touch.

GGuest UserEverything was amazing from start to end. Our host picked us up from the train station and took us directly to the accomodation. He waited while we got changed to quickly shuttle us to the pickup area for the bus to the Golden Summit. At the end of the day, he was waiting for us to shuttle us back to the hotel. The hotel’s location is spectacular and our room was beautiful with an amazing view of the mountains. We ate dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious. Breakfast, likewise, was really tasty. The staff really made us feel comfortable and were available to answer questions and provide suggestions at any time. Felt like a very luxurious stay.

天高海靖Upon early check-in, I found that my reserved mountain view room was located by the road. After speaking with the front desk, the hotel immediately offered a complimentary upgrade to a river view room, which was much quieter and offered a more scenic view. Both the in-room and external facilities were excellent, comfortable, and spotless. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful. All the benefits promised on my booking were fully delivered.
