"My stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Shiyan was absolutely perfect, a full five-star recommendation! The location is superb, right in the heart of Beijing North Road, close to Wanda Plaza and the museum, making it convenient for getting around and shopping. The front desk service was warm and attentive; check-in was quick, and they even offered their signature warm cookies, which really showed their attention to detail. The room was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy, with elegant new Chinese-style decor. The king-size bed was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, and the Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries were high quality. The soundproofing was also excellent. The breakfast buffet had an incredibly wide selection, including local Shiyan specialties like hot dry noodles and beef noodles, all with authentic flavors. The hotel also offers a 24-hour gym and a heated swimming pool, so the facilities are excellent. "This was my second Ritz-Carlton stay, after Sanya. Before my arrival, the concierge proactively reached out via WeChat, providing detailed information about the hotel and its surroundings. Upon arrival, staff immediately helped with my luggage and even offered to deliver it to my room. During check-in, they kindly asked if I needed a late checkout and extended it until 3 PM, which was absolutely fantastic! 👍 The high-rise lobby offers breathtaking views, with the city skyline and river stretching as far as the eye can see. Although it's a newly opened hotel, there were no strange odors in the room. The decor and lighting directly opposite the entrance immediately caught my eye. The bedding was very comfortable, and the amenities were from Diptyque, ensuring quality. Welcome fruits were provided, and turndown service included a thoughtful local cultural refrigerator magnet. For in-room dining, I ordered a burger and beef noodles, both of which were delicious. The most memorable part of breakfast was the cold brew – truly refreshing on a summer day.
