The location is a definite plus, and the free shuttle to and from the airport was very convenient. Breakfast was decent as well. I'm not sure if it was because I booked a special rate through Ctrip, but I specifically requested a room away from the elevators and noise. Despite it being a large hotel, they gave me a room that was indeed far from the elevators, but it was a corner room right at a street intersection, with an irregular layout. Having stayed at that hotel before, I know they must have specifically chosen this room for me, which is surprising given the hotel's size and numerous rooms, especially since it clearly wasn't fully booked that night. It wasn't really a complaint, just a bit perplexing.

I stayed in a 'deluxe king room,' but I'm not sure if my definition of 'deluxe' in Hong Kong is just different. The room felt like it was stuck in the 80s – old carpets, a wardrobe door that wouldn't close, and a kettle with stains (I had to clean it myself with a toothbrush). There were no USB sockets by the bed for charging phones, one of the bedside lamps was broken, and the sofa was old and yellowed. The bathroom had three types of electrical outlets, which was nice, and the toilet was fine (just old). The bathtub had an anti-slip mat, which was a thoughtful touch. However, the bedsheets might not have been clean, as I was itching all night. Also, what's with their trash cans (some waste)? It felt like I was paying five-star prices for a two-star experience ($200/night).

My friends and I recently stayed at the Royal Plaza Hotel, and it was truly a perfect experience – definitely five stars!
📍 **Fantastic Location, Unbeatable Transport:** The hotel is situated right above Mong Kok East MTR station and directly connected to MOKO shopping mall. Downstairs, you'll find shops, a supermarket, and various restaurants, making it incredibly convenient to get anything you need. Mong Kok East station also offers easy access to Shenzhen or Hong Kong Island.
🛏️ **Spacious, Clean, and Comfortable Rooms:** For Hong Kong, the rooms are genuinely spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds are large and very comfortable, and the warm lighting and elegant decor create a very relaxing atmosphere.
🏊 **Excellent Facilities, Great Experience:** The hotel boasts comprehensive facilities. The rooftop sky pool offers panoramic views of Mong Kok, and swimming there at night while enjoying the cityscape is an absolute delight.
🙋 **Attentive Service, Felt Right at Home:** All the staff members were very polite, providing warm and thoughtful service. When checking out, the front desk lady even gave a small gift to my child, which was a lovely touch.
💡 **Overall:** The hotel is clean, and the service is efficient. It's a rare peaceful haven amidst the bustling city. Offering excellent value for money, I will definitely choose the Royal Plaza Hotel again on my next trip to Hong Kong!

This hotel boasts an excellent location – it's right in the heart of Hung Hom, what I like to call the 'center of the universe.' There's a side entrance that leads directly into a mall, offering plenty of dining, entertainment, and even car shopping options. A skybridge connects the mall to PolyU, and nearby you'll find the Hong Kong Science Museum and Hong Kong Museum of History, making it super convenient for exploring. From the hotel's back exit, you can walk past the Hong Kong Coliseum and soon reach the trendy new hotspot, the Hung Hom Promenade.
The hotel also provides multiple shuttle buses to Middle Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, and Hung Hom Station is conveniently located nearby.
I booked a suite this time, and I wasn't aware of any specific benefits when I made the reservation. So, I was pleasantly surprised when the front desk staff, referring to a printout, informed me that it included a buffet breakfast for two, as well as afternoon tea and evening refreshments at the Executive Lounge.
The room was quite clean and quiet at night. The kitchen facilities were very complete, perfect for anyone who wants to cook during their stay.
The hotel's breakfast spread was quite extensive, featuring a variety of Chinese, Western, Japanese, and Indian dishes. It caters wonderfully to guests from different countries, ethnicities, and backgrounds worldwide.
The Executive Lounge is conveniently located on the same floor as the suites. I visited twice, and the atmosphere was elegant with incredible sea views. Even better, you can step out onto the terrace to admire the stunning views of Victoria Harbour, which are equally beautiful day or night.
I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong.

Location: Just a 3-minute walk from Wan Chai MTR Exit C. You can also take bus A11 directly from the airport.
Environment: Clean and spacious rooms, which is considered quite large for Hong Kong.
Amenities: Toothbrush, slippers, towels, hairdryer, shower gel, and shampoo are all provided.
Staff: All staff members are polite and can speak English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Overall, the room was quiet, the air conditioning was sufficiently cold, and the shower had good water pressure. I stayed for six nights and had a very pleasant experience.

Traveling with my elderly parents and young child, I chose this hotel for a more comfortable stay. The beds were spacious enough (I booked two queen-sized beds, 1.5m wide each), and the amenities were comprehensive (free WiFi, USB charging ports). The room offered a great view directly facing the sea. Although it's a bit far from the city center, the price was very reasonable, and they even offer a shuttle service to and from Tsuen Wan MTR station, making transportation quite convenient. The breakfast was also delicious, with three set menus (A, B, C) to choose from, and complimentary self-service beverages like coffee, milk, and orange juice. A tip: it's much cheaper to book breakfast at the front desk upon check-in, and you'll save on service charges too!

I originally booked a twin room, but the front desk staff upgraded me to a room on the 20th floor in the West Wing. The view from the window, as shown in the picture, was pretty good, so I extended my stay. When I checked in, I spoke Cantonese with the staff member, and when I checked out, I spoke Mandarin with the female staff at the front desk. Both interactions were smooth, and everyone was very polite. The reading area outside the front desk has a great view, but unfortunately, I was too rushed during my stay to enjoy it. The hotel is located in North Point, which is a bustling area with many restaurants. On my last day, I used the complimentary food voucher for the 'Explore North Point - Explorer Set' to try the egg waffle shop. They were delicious and easy to redeem. It's a shame I went too late, as the other places had already closed. If you plan to use the vouchers, it's best to go earlier. The hotel is also very close to the MTR station, less than a hundred meters from North Point Exit A1.

I really looked at so many hotels before coming to Hong Kong, worried that a bad stay would spoil my trip, but the Prudential Hotel truly didn't disappoint! It's actually not far from West Kowloon, just a few blocks away. Plus, the Jordan MTR station exit is right next door, and downstairs you'll find bus stops, the Airport Express, Mannings, and Jollibee fried chicken – it's incredibly convenient! It's also super close to West Kowloon Park, making it easy to visit the big purple fountain. In fact, it's quite close to the Star Ferry and the Victoria Harbour observation deck too; we walked there the first time, and then took a bus (just 4 stops) to see the night view. There was even a film crew shooting downstairs, though we didn't see any celebrities, it was still pretty cool. There are lots of great restaurants in the area. The check-in service was very welcoming, and I noticed staff near the escalator helping women with large suitcases down, showing a strong awareness of safety.

The service was excellent, and the staff spoke standard Mandarin well, even though I also understand Cantonese. They thoughtfully upgraded me to a suite, which shows this hotel doesn't discriminate against guests from mainland China. The room was very clean and new. It's located in the bustling Wan Chai district, and on the third floor, there was even an Asian selection race for miniature model cars in the mall. The hotel's attached mall has a McDonald's and Sasa, and it's always lively. It's best to check in after 3 PM to avoid the queues. This is my second time staying here, and I highly recommend it. But seriously, don't all come and steal my hidden gem, haha!

Extended my stay for another day. It's all about comfort and good vibes. Now I'm back in mainland China. The hotel is super convenient; Tsuen Wan West MTR station is only about 300 meters away. From there, I took the Tuen Ma Line three stops to Austin, then directly through customs to catch the high-speed rail back to mainland China (Hong Kong West Kowloon - Shenzhen North Station). So quick and easy! The front desk lady even helped me with my small request to extend my check-out by an hour. Thumbs up! Very much like a Hong Kong lady!

BbeibeiloveseaComing to Hong Kong this time, I searched for many hotels on Trip.com, but most rooms were tiny and the facilities were outdated. I finally decided to stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong, and as soon as I entered, I was blown away by the sea-view room on the first floor with a large balcony! Stepping out, you're greeted by an endless expanse of clear blue sea – the view is absolutely stunning! 🌊
At night, I enjoyed the sea breeze on the balcony, watching the starry sky, eating fruit, and having drinks. It was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Getting around from the hotel is super convenient; there's a free shuttle bus directly to the MTR station, making it easy to go shopping, explore, and try out all the amazing local food.
The buffet breakfast was a bit simple, so don't have high expectations. Once you're near the MTR station, there are so many Hong Kong delicacies that you'll wish you had more stomachs to try them all.
The hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with a healing sea view and excellent value for money. The experience was fantastic, and it's definitely on my must-stay list for my next visit to Hong Kong. I'll definitely be back!
RRyonChenThe location is super convenient, with direct subway access. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making me feel right at home. While the room wasn't huge, it was clean and comfortable, and the sea view from my room was spectacular. Overall, it's great value for money, perfect for business trips or short getaways. I'd definitely consider staying here again.

TTop_xinThis hotel is quite remote, primarily chosen for its low price, as it's convenient for catching a flight the next day. The special MTR line from Tsing Yi station costs HKD 73 and gets you there in under 30 minutes. However, the service is just average. We checked in at 2 PM, and they had already arranged for us to pick up the key cards from a machine. They promised one large bed but gave us a twin room. The room is 'eco-friendly' with no toiletries, only a broken, integrated shampoo dispenser. The swimming pool is out of service. On the bright side, there are two minibuses downstairs that go to Kwai Fong and Tsing Yi, which is fairly convenient.
GGuest UserIt's been a while since I last stayed in a hotel in Hong Kong, and I'm quite disappointed.
The check-in service was actually good by Hong Kong standards (those familiar with Hong Kong service will understand). However, the first room I was assigned had an odd smell, there were unidentifiable hairs around the carpet, and the chair was worn out... That really made a bad first impression. I then switched to a second room, and the carpets along the way were visibly not very clean. Perhaps I've stayed in Macau hotels more often; any brand hotel in Macau is always very clean and reassuring. These points combined made my stay feel very uncomfortable.
This hotel is indeed very suitable for families with children, offering a swimming pool, a splash pool, and a kids' club (HKD 110 per hour). The breakfast was also good. The main draw of this hotel for me initially was the unbeatable sea view from the room! However, I do have a small suggestion: the curtains in the guest rooms let in light, so you'll be woken up by glaring light around 6 or 7 in the morning.

Very Good
Qqingqing2008Staying at the Island Shangri-La this time was truly one of the most thoughtful and personalized hotel experiences I've had recently.
The hotel's overall atmosphere is sophisticated and grand, exuding a classic luxury feel that perfectly matches the 'old money' aesthetic.
The opulent and majestic lobby features high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and rich wood tones, creating an understated yet substantial ambiance. It's like being transported back to old Hong Kong, a time when ceremony was highly valued.
💁 Impeccable and Attentive Service
Shangri-La's consistently high standard of service was fully evident here, making me feel right at home. Upon check-in, a welcome fruit platter was already in the room.
The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful: check-in was efficient, and the staff were warm and professional. As I was bringing my child to Hong Kong for an IELTS exam, I asked about the test location at the front desk. The lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful; she personally walked me out to the main entrance and precisely directed me to the test center across the street, explaining how to get there. When we checked out, she very kindly gave my child a small chocolate.
JJamie Daniel AliA really nice hotel for a budget, rooms are clean and spacious with strong WiFi and an amazing rainfall shower. It’s a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station but there is a free shuttle bus from the lobby every half an hour!
