The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location, but honestly, everything else feels a bit subpar compared to other four-star chains like Hilton. Perhaps it's because Venice's urban infrastructure is quite old. The hotel lobby is nice, but the in-room facilities have some flaws, like certain glued-on fixtures that easily fall off. They do have both new European and old Italian standard power outlets, which is, I guess, okay. There are also a few other minor imperfections, and around 2 AM, there seemed to be a party with young people nearby. Overall, though, the location and experience justify the price. There are plenty of dining options nearby; I recommend trying some of the highly-rated restaurants for pasta, pizza, and gelato – the prices are good too. After all, hotels on the main island are even less cost-effective and have older facilities. If you have higher expectations for your experience, I'd suggest going a few kilometers away to a Hilton Garden Inn or similar. The price is about the same, the facilities are better, but transportation isn't as convenient. Otherwise, you'd have to pay double the price for something on the main island. For lower expectations, you could try other nearby hostels that aren't hotels.

The location is perfect, just two minutes from Lido Santa Maria Elisabeth (SME) Station. It's the best option for connecting to the main island and the airport! The facilities are old and only a three-star hotel, but it's great value for money and convenient transportation. Since it was the Biennale, I booked a room in the mid-200,000 won range, but I think 100,000 won would be the best deal. ^^ I stayed for six days and had no issues. The bathroom and toilet were both in good condition.

The table service I would say is excellent. The modern structure. I would say the young lady at the reception is very helpful and kind. Good and plentiful breakfast. Finally a clean room. I gladly go back.

The room was much more spacious than expected, a significant improvement compared to London hotels. The bathroom was a good size and clean. The hotel is conveniently located near Mestre train station, with a Chinese supermarket and many restaurants nearby. We booked a standard twin room. There are also many other large hotels in the vicinity. Overall, it was a very good experience. Just a heads-up, there were no toothbrushes or cups provided.

The hotel would need a general refreshment (like the fifth floor rooms already renovated). Excellent cleaning, just enough breakfast.

The hotel is located outside the restricted traffic zone, and the surroundings are very pleasant. You can take bus route 6 to the pier and then a boat to Venice Island. The hotel front desk sells tickets, which is very convenient. The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities, and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic in recommending tour routes, which I greatly appreciated! The hotel's parking lot is very large, and we got free parking during our stay; I'm not sure if there's usually a charge. The breakfast selection was rich and very good.

Friendly Staff and Great Tips for Visiting Venice We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Centrale. What really made the experience special was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They kindly explained to us the easiest way to visit Venice without driving into the city. Instead of driving and paying expensive parking fees in Venice (which can be at least €25 or more), they suggested taking Bus 7 or 7E, which goes directly to Venice with the last stop near the main area. The journey only takes about 20 minutes, making it very convenient. They also recommended a nearby parking area costing around €12, which saved us quite a bit. The hotel itself is comfortable and practical. The room was a good size with everything we needed, including a nice hot shower after a long day of travel. Breakfast was good, and the hotel seems quite popular. There is also a little shop just next door so you can just buy whatever that you need. The surrounding town is simple, but the hotel’s location is very convenient for visiting Venice. We also appreciated that dogs are allowed, which made traveling with our pet much easier. Overall, the friendly service and helpful local advice made a big difference to our stay.

The location is quite convenient, about a 10-15 minute walk to the train station, and there are bus stops nearby. There's no kettle, and all drinks in the mini-fridge, including a 500ml bottle of mineral water, cost 1.5 euros. The tray only has two glass cups, with no free coffee or tea for brewing. Even though I never use them, their absence makes the hotel seem cheap. The only saving grace was that the restaurant staff downstairs were very nice and willing to fill my thermos with hot water. There was only toilet paper, no facial tissues. This is the stingiest four-star hotel I've ever stayed in. I had already paid the full room rate, but upon check-in, they insisted on scanning my passport and credit card together for their records. Luckily, I had covered my security code beforehand. I don't understand why this rundown place needed to keep a credit card on file, probably for those overpriced drinks in the fridge? I'd been traveling for ten days, and all other hotels only required an additional city tax payment. This old-fashioned place was the only one that insisted on a credit card deposit.

The hotel was clean and the service was amazing, all the staff were super friendly and helpful which definitely contributed to an amazing user experience. The location though is not the most convenient as it is not close to any major cities but since most get here by car this is not a big issue. Next to the hotel there is also a decently sized mall where you will find a Laundry store, a supermarket and a grocery store within walking distance.

GGuest UserI liked the hotel's close proximity to the main square. A hearty breakfast is included in the price. The room is clean, with windows overlooking the neighboring building. It has all the necessary amenities. I recommend this hotel for its affordable price.

VVictoria SmykovaThe hotel is very conveniently located. For Venice, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is delicious. We booked a room with one large bed, but unfortunately, we were given a room with two separate beds and couldn't change it as there were no other rooms available. The standard rooms face a narrow alley, and around 6 AM, trolleys start rolling by, and the noise wakes you up. Overall, the hotel fully lives up to its 4-star rating. Breakfast is served right on the waterfront on an open terrace – a truly beautiful spot!

MModouletianLocation: Super close to the train station and the Vaporetto stop, which is great because getting around Venice's main island means either walking or taking a boat. The island is pretty big, but you can see most of it in a day if you're not planning on visiting every single museum. Facilities: The hotel's entrance is tiny, easy to miss! The worst part, though, are the stairs. Besides the ones at the entrance, there are so many steps going up and down throughout the hallways inside the hotel. It's really inconvenient if you have luggage. Service: No one was available to help with luggage, which was a real pain, especially since I had a lot. The front desk service, however, was quite professional, and the staff spoke good English – plus, they were very handsome! Cleanliness: The hotel is a bit old. Our room window faced an alley with trash cans, so we had to keep it closed.

MM255516****The facility is old but all well functional. Anyways this building can be traced back to year 1879. All the staff are very friendly. They have upgraded our room because of honeymoon, really appreciate that. The interior decoration is very vintage and classic. The breakfast is really out of our expectation. Overall a very cost effective choice! Also, the location is great and it is quite near to the train station, no need to take your luggage to cross the bridges! Overall highly recommend for its cost effective!

GGuest UserThe location is excellent. just beside Venezia Santa Lucia station, which made it very convenient for travel. Check-in was smooth, and they offered complimentary luggage storage, which was a nice touch. I didn’t get to try the included breakfast since I had to leave early for my packed itinerary. However, the elevator doesn’t reach the top floor where our room was, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. Unfortunately, both my brother and I got bed bug bites during our stay, which was very disappointing. The place has a great location, but cleanliness and maintenance really need improvement.

DDonena WilliamsThis hotel is obviously Old however it is comfortable. I can’t compare it to any of the other hotels there as I haven’t stayed at the others but I will say it has no lift and I was a little concerned how we would get out in the fire. The hallways are long and go round and round like a rabbits Warren. My overall stay was pleasant and the best thing about it was the awesome breakfast. If you do decide to stay ask for the front terrace rooms I believe they’re not so claustrophobic.

SSssdddshalaThe room was a bit small, but the bathroom was relatively spacious. Overall, it was clean and tidy, and disposable slippers were provided. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of Santa Lucia train station. The front desk staff were very friendly and service-oriented. The breakfast was just okay, nothing special. Now for some downsides. First, and this might be a common issue for hotels on the island of Venice (just my guess), the interior layout was quite convoluted, requiring switches between two elevators. Second, the air freshener scent in the room was quite strong.

EEril Ken TravelsA 3-Star Hotel with 5-Star Service Hotel Malibran may be rated three stars, but the service is top-tier. Everyone, from the concierge to housekeeping, kitchen staff, and waiters, works with genuine warmth. You’re greeted with smiles, and you can tell they’re proud of what they do. Special thanks to Salvo at the front desk. He’s a standout. Speaks multiple languages, including Chinese. Professional, patient, and incredibly helpful. He gave me a personalized trip plan, listed local spots worth visiting, and never got tired of my questions. Rare to find this level of care. The room: clean, compact, and comfortable. Good enough for working online without any issues. The included breakfast is decent: breads, cheeses, hams, and cold cuts. Drink choices are solid too. The hotel is close to Rialto Bridge, which means the area’s prices can be high, but the convenience and access are unbeatable. Would absolutely stay again. The staff alone make it worth it.

YYunyoudebaobaoThis hotel is in the quiet Lido~ If you exit Venice Santa Lucia Train Station, you need to take the Line 5.1 water bus (45-50 minutes) to Lido Station. It takes 17-20 minutes to walk from Lido S.M.E Station. If you have a lot of luggage, such as (2 pieces/more than 2 pieces), it is recommended to call a car directly. It is quite tiring to walk and push the suitcase. The hotel room I was given this time was very large, enough for 4 people~ I booked a double bed room for 1-2 people online (at that time, a friend was still waiting to decide whether to join)~ In the end, my friend was not able to join~ But the room the hotel gave me had 3 beds (1 double bed + 2 single beds) which was a bit unexpected~ It is more suitable for family travel. The hotel environment is very good~ Facing the sea and spring flowers blooming. There is a courtyard, lawn and chairs at the door of the room for rest ~ a strong seaside villa holiday style ~ Hotel facilities: Although the room is large: But I didn't see any slippers. Of course, you have to get water from the minibar ~ and of course you have to buy it yourself ~ This is similar in European hotels. It's within the expected situation. For breakfast - the overall difference between hotels in Europe with a price range of 1-1.5k/night is not big: mainly Western style - bread, milk, juice, eggs, ham, cheese, coffee... Chinese stomachs have to overcome themselves. Travel is also quite convenient. If you need to go to the main island or other islands, walk 1.1 kilometers to Lido Station to take the water bus.
