The room I booked was advertised as 17 square meters, but it was nowhere near that size. There was barely enough space to turn around. The window faced a wall. To make matters worse, to get to the room from the elevator, you had to go up a flight of stairs and then down another flight, which was incredibly inconvenient. Ctrip, it's very irresponsible of you to sell such rooms to customers.

Good location, with the bus to Venice very close by and nearby restaurants. The beds were good, and the bathroom was a bit old with a shower curtain.

The hotel is clean and well-maintained, perfect for a few nights. Delicious breakfasts. I recommend it.

If you're looking for accommodation to visit Venice, this could be a pretty practical option. The hotel is connected to Venice by bus in about 12 minutes, so even if you're not staying directly on the island, getting to the center is easy. The 2 PM check-in seemed quite good to me. Some hotels don't allow access to the room until 3 PM or even 4 PM, so having it available earlier is appreciated, especially after traveling. Breakfast was included and, honestly, for the price we paid, it was quite satisfactory. No great luxuries, but enough to start the day with energy. The room was a pleasant surprise: spacious, with a large bed and another small one, and we also had views of the square, which is always a plus. The less positive point? The bathroom. Overall it was fine, but the shower was quite small and could be a bit uncomfortable. 👉 In summary: a good alternative if you want to visit Venice without necessarily paying the prices of staying directly on the island. Good connection, spacious room, and included breakfast. The only thing I would clearly improve is the size of the shower.

The room amenities are very simple: body soap, towels, hand soap, disposable plastic cups, and blankets. Although it's an old building, it's kept very clean, and I had a pleasant stay. There was no smell from the drain. There's no kettle or refrigerator. You can get hot and cold water from the front desk if you ask. The supermarket directly in front of the hotel doesn't have very cold beer. I recommend Ali Supermarket, which is a 3-4 minute walk away. Canned Moretti beer is 80 cents there. You can buy bus tickets and other items at the tabacchi on the first floor of the same building, but they only accept cash. Buses to the airport and Venice main island are crowded, and you'll most likely have to stand.
