The location is truly fantastic. It's just a few minutes by subway from Nanjing South Railway Station, and the hotel is situated right above the subway station. The room features a full wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, making it minimalist, bright, and airy. There's also a tatami sofa; opening the curtains offers a stunning view and brilliant natural light. The cleanliness was handled with great care, and our family of three had a very comfortable stay. They provided complimentary children's slippers and a toothbrush, which made our son ecstatic. The breakfast had a pretty good variety, and the Duck Blood Vermicelli Soup had more generous ingredients than what you get at outside eateries. The young man at the front desk was super quick with check-in, recommended local food spots nearby—you can find local eateries just a short walk away—and even gave us directions for sightseeing routes in Nanjing. In the evening, we took the subway just two stops to a nearby major shopping district. I also checked out the gym when I had a moment; it's well-equipped, clean, and unoccupied. All in all, it was a very satisfying stay~~ I've already recommended it to friends planning to visit Nanjing!

Anonymous UserThe parking lot was quite a distance away, but the owner came to pick us up in a tricycle, which was a fun and novel experience for the kids. We stayed on the third floor, and the stairs felt a bit steep, but it was manageable. Being right in the scenic area, it was super convenient to get everywhere!

Tianshiyi0324Boasting a prime location just steps from Pingjiang Road, this place makes exploring the area a breeze. Although the guest room faces the street, the double-glazed soundproof windows are exceptionally effective—the moment you close them, the hustle and bustle of the alleys is completely shut out. The room features a cozy, retro Republic-of-China style, fully equipped with modern amenities, including a handy Xiaodu smart device at your fingertips.
The room was meticulously cleaned and maintained, and the soft bedding ensured a sound sleep all night long. After spending the day strolling through the Suzhou Museum and the Humble Administrator's Garden, listening to the melodious Pingtan storytelling, and returning from a night walk along Pingjiang Road, the warm and attentive front desk receptionist gave us wonderful recommendations for local culinary gems.
There are small courtyards on both the first and second floors; sitting out there in the morning to sip tea is wonderfully relaxing and leisurely. Breakfast features soft and sweet traditional rice cakes, brown sugar cakes, and wholesome grains like corn and sweet potatoes—simple yet hearty. The property is small, but thoughtful service is evident in every corner. I look forward to staying here again next time I visit Suzhou.

WangchongyangbiuVisiting Nanjing, I was so glad I booked the Manxin Hotel at Laomendong. The room cleanliness was truly faultless—it wasn't just clean on the surface; easily missed spots like the crevices of the nightstands and the corners of the bathroom were all impeccably tidy. The bedding was super soft, there was no strange odor upon entering the room, and it felt extremely reassuring to stay here. The hotel's back garden is a real hidden gem; while the outer Laomendong area is bustling and lively, the courtyard is wonderfully peaceful. Lush with greenery and designed with the charm of a traditional Jiangnan courtyard, sitting here in the evening to catch the breeze at a leisurely pace instantly melted away all our fatigue. The front desk service was exceptionally warm and thoughtful; check-in was swift, the staff spoke in gentle tones, and they even proactively reminded us which spots in Laomendong were less crowded for taking photos, responding promptly to all our requests. To find such a quiet and comfortable place to stay amidst the bustling Laomendong made for a 10/10 experience. I genuinely recommend it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Nanjing.

HebeichaOur family booked three rooms for our vacation. The hotel lobby is tall and spacious, and the subway entrance is right outside, making transportation very convenient. Dream at the front desk was very thoughtful, upgrading our room type and specifically arranging for connecting rooms. Because we had seniors with us, they even assigned rooms close to the elevator – service was 10/10! Excellent value for money!

Pasharamon NawakrichHotel Indigo Suzhou Jinji Lake was absolutely amazing.
A special thank you to **Raffael** and another gentleman whose name I unfortunately forgot—I’m pretty sure I read his name on his name tag! In any case, all the clerks were wonderful, friendly, and genuinely helpful.
The room service was fast and very good, and I absolutely loved the breakfast. And forget the ordinary little “welcome drink” you usually get at hotels—this place takes welcome drinks seriously! 😂 The drink was so generous that I actually had to share one cup with my driver.
This was my first time in Suzhou, which may sound quite ordinary, but for me, it was actually a big deal. It was the **first time in my life that I traveled somewhere completely alone**. All my partners were worried about me, and honestly, I had some hesitation too. But the wonderful atmosphere and hospitality of the hotel staff quickly made me feel comfortable and at ease.
After a worldwide business trip, I made a last-minute decision to change my destination from Shanghai to Suzhou. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, especially since I didn’t find as many reviews from my foreign travelers friends about Suzhou as I expected. Somehow, though, I trusted Indigo—and I’m very glad I did.
There are four things that really stood out to me:
**1. The location**
The location was perfect. It made exploring the area very convenient and was one of the reasons I immediately felt I had made the right decision.
**2. The service**
The service was sublime. Every interaction with the staff made me feel welcomed and well taken care of. Their hospitality really helped take away my hesitation about traveling alone.
**3. The room**
I honestly felt like I could spend the entire day in that bathtub! 😂 Everything in the room was thoughtfully prepared and very comfortable—the sofa, table, armchair, bathroom, tea corner, and even the little shelf for reading.
It felt like a place where I could actually stay and enjoy the room rather than simply use it as somewhere to sleep.
I even started wondering whether I should cancel my day tour and just stay at the hotel longer!
**4. The food and coffee**
The hotel food is definitely a must-try. I ordered room service this time, but next time I will make sure to go to the restaurant and experience it properly.
And as someone who is very much a **coffee-first person**, I have to mention the coffee. I’ve been disappointed by coffee in many places during my travels, but not here. Coffee lovers can relax—you’re in good hands at this hotel. ☕️
And the **pastries and cakes are amazing too**. I honestly wasn’t expecting to be this impressed by the bakery selection. Everything was so good that I could easily make another trip just for breakfast, coffee, pastries, and cake. 😂
I will probably come back and stay here again.
And honestly, it’s not only because of Suzhou itself. **Hotel Indigo Suzhou Jinji Lake made me want to come back to Suzhou.**
Thank you for the sublime hospitality and for making my first solo experience in Suzhou such a wonderful one. ❤️
