Hotel near HongKong International Airport,Hong Kong 8.7% of visitors choose this area

As our flight arrived HK at 2355 hrs, we booked a night at Regal Hotel on arrival. Once you are at the Arrival Hall, turn to left towards the end & you will see a signboard directing you to Regal Hotel. Just less then 5 mins walk you will reach the Hotel’s Reception. Checking-in was a breeze in less then 3 mins we were given the room keys. Room is old but clean with all the necessities. As the room came with 1 complementary breakfast, i paid an extra HKD138/pax for the international buffet breakfast. Well worth the price. To reach the city, we took the HK Airport Express at a promo price for 2 pax single journey.

I only found out after booking that this hotel has a bit of a reputation, apparently for being *******, so I was a bit unnerved staying there at night. The front desk is on the third floor, above a mall, and it seems to be quite a popular place. The air conditioner remote in my room was broken and couldn't be controlled. In the other room, it could be controlled, but it kept resetting to the original temperature, and I couldn't adjust the fan speed either, which blew directly onto the bed. The soundproofing isn't great; there were a lot of excited foreigners, so it was a bit noisy. The service was good, though. However, my room wasn't ready at the 3 PM check-in time, and I had to wait another thirty minutes, which I found unacceptable. It just doesn't make sense to have to check out by 11 AM but then not get your room until 3:30 PM.

I chose this hotel for a concert as it's super close to the venue. The room was small but very clean, and perfectly acceptable for a two-night stay. Transportation is very convenient, and they even offer a free shuttle bus to and from the airport and subway station. The hotel breakfast was just so-so, nothing special. If you're planning to go out, I'd recommend skipping breakfast here and eating out instead. All in all, it was a decent stay.

I booked two consecutive nights for a business trip. I arrived around 8 PM on the first night, and even though I requested a king-sized bed when booking, I was told the room still needed to be prepared, so I had to wait another hour. I also asked for a higher floor for more quiet, but instead, I was put on the lowest floor right next to the elevator, and it was also right by the hotel pool. I could hear people walking by in the hallway and outside. The front desk staff clearly didn't manage the arrangements well and had an impatient attitude.

The room was quite spacious for Hong Kong standards, comparable to a standard twin room on the mainland. The common areas were very well air-conditioned. To get to the tower, you need to take an elevator to the 20th floor. The facilities weren't as outdated as some reviews suggested, and I was very happy with this room type in Hong Kong. We pushed the two small beds together to create a large bed over 2 meters wide. It offered excellent views, including a sea view, and the rooftop pool was also stunning, providing a dazzling view of Victoria Harbour at night. The transportation was extremely convenient; it was just a 3-4 minute walk to the MTR station if you turned right upon exiting. The only minor drawback was that the front desk staff who checked us in didn't smile at all. While they weren't impolite, there was no sense of warmth or friendliness.

I chose this hotel for its proximity to the vaccination center, and it turned out to be unexpectedly good. It's clean and fresh, and the service is excellent. The views from the 40th floor are clear and expansive. The executive lounge on the 36th floor offers breakfast from 7-10 AM, afternoon tea from 3-5 PM, and a rich selection of evening snacks from 6-8 PM, all complimentary. It's also very convenient for metro travel and taxis. Excellent value for money!

The hotel lobby is opulent, but the rooms are tiny. The hallways are long, narrow, and feel very claustrophobic. Getting to the gym and pool involves walking down a distant, cramped corridor that feels like a maze, adding to the claustrophobia. Plus, the pool wasn't even open. The room itself was so small you could barely turn around, and the twin beds creaked loudly with every movement. I booked this room a week in advance for 900, but by check-in, the price had dropped to just over 600. The hotel refused my request to adjust the booking. To make matters worse, I was assigned what seemed to be one of the smallest rooms available. My request for a late check-out until 2 PM was also denied by the front desk. For this price, both the room and the service were extremely disappointing. Last week, I stayed at a Courtyard in Sha Tin for just over 700 and even got a free upgrade to a river view room, which was also very spacious. There's really no comparison. Eventually, Trip.com's concierge helped me get a 200 refund. Overall, this hotel has a 5-star lobby but 2-star rooms – definitely try to avoid it. It's fine if you just want to use the lobby, but I wouldn't recommend staying in the rooms.

This was my third stay at this hotel, but unfortunately the experience was quite different from my previous visits. During my three night stay, I had to change rooms four times. The first room did not match the room size I had booked, so I was moved to an accessible room, but there was a noticeable smell coming from the bathroom drain. I was then moved again, only to find that the AC was not working properly. Although these issues were frustrating, I appreciate that the staff took them seriously and arranged room changes promptly each time. Overall, the service was good, but the stay was disappointing compared with my previous experiences.

The neighborhood felt great! I love the song 'Next Stop, Tin Hau,' so I chose to stay at the Empire Hotel in Tin Hau station this time. And indeed, the vibe was fantastic. The service, just like in Tsim Sha Tsui, was exceptional. It felt personal and down-to-earth. They even gave me a complimentary bottle of water every day, which was a thoughtful touch. Thank you! It's convenient for getting everywhere; I'm quite familiar with the area now. Staying for several days in a row offered great value for money. Keep up the good work! May we all continue to thrive.

Arrived on the red eye flight past midnight, to find to my dismay that the hotel had 4 to 5 steps from the pavement where i alighted, to the hotel lobby. Not the best start, I thought. Then the staff who attended to me was also not the most chatty and i was kind of regretting booking the hotel. But all that negativity was dispelled when arrived on the 23rd floor of my room, and was greeted by the spectacular sight of the renowned fragrant harbour in my very spacious room, by HK standards. There was a Nescafe coffee maker, which was kindly topped up daily by the friendly cleaning staff, even though i told them i didnt need room service for my short 2-night stay. Bed was firm and comfy, bathtub was clean and not too deep so no fear of accidental drowning. But the highlight for me, besides the view of the harbour, was the delicious breakfast buffet spread, which had a lot of dim sum components, on top of the usual continental breakfast spread. Kudos to the chefs and staff at the cafe serving the hungry morning crowd! Conveniently located along a street full of fab eateries, but not the nearest to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station (about 7mins walk away).

BbeibeiloveseaComing to Hong Kong this time, I searched for many hotels on Trip.com, but most rooms were tiny and the facilities were outdated. I finally decided to stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong, and as soon as I entered, I was blown away by the sea-view room on the first floor with a large balcony! Stepping out, you're greeted by an endless expanse of clear blue sea – the view is absolutely stunning! 🌊 At night, I enjoyed the sea breeze on the balcony, watching the starry sky, eating fruit, and having drinks. It was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Getting around from the hotel is super convenient; there's a free shuttle bus directly to the MTR station, making it easy to go shopping, explore, and try out all the amazing local food. The buffet breakfast was a bit simple, so don't have high expectations. Once you're near the MTR station, there are so many Hong Kong delicacies that you'll wish you had more stomachs to try them all. The hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with a healing sea view and excellent value for money. The experience was fantastic, and it's definitely on my must-stay list for my next visit to Hong Kong. I'll definitely be back!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel staff were warm and professional. The front desk attendant was particularly helpful; we were a group hoping to stay on the same floor, and he really went out of his way to accommodate us. What truly stands out is finding such a reasonably priced hotel in a place like Hong Kong, where space is at a premium – it's truly a rare find! I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong. Plus, it's conveniently located right next to Tuen Mun MTR Station, which is a terminal station, making it easy to get anywhere. There's also a Light Rail stop nearby, and multiple bus routes just below the MTR station. It's convenient, affordable, and offers great value for money! 👍👍👍

GGuest UserThis hotel definitely exceeded my expectations! For a price over HKD 1,000, I was expecting a tiny room in Hong Kong, but to my surprise, it was a suite. It had a living room with a sofa, coffee table, and dining table, and the bedroom had a super large bed. Plus, all the details in the bathroom were very clean. The hotel staff were very nice, and their Mandarin was good. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, where you could order one set meal, and all four I tried were delicious. You could even see parrots flying outside the window while having breakfast. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its convenient location. It's about two bus stops from Admiralty Station (or walkable, really), a 200-meter walk from the Peak Tram Macdonnell Road Station, and within walking distance of Hong Kong Park and Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThis is a great value-for-money option! The large windows make the room bright and comfortable. Downstairs, there's a ParknShop supermarket and a Cafe de Coral restaurant. It's a bit far from the city center, but easily accessible by bus. Just note that they don't provide toothpaste or toothbrushes, though disposable slippers are available.

GGuest UserBooking the Rambler Oasis Hotel was hands down the best and most satisfying decision I made during my entire May Day trip to Hong Kong. I chose this hotel because of its affordable price and proximity to Disneyland, as I was taking my kids there. During the May Day holiday, most standard hotels in Hong Kong were priced at 1500+ HKD per night, but Rambler Oasis was only 500 HKD. Pros: It's close to Disneyland, and there's a mini-bus right outside the hotel that goes directly to Tsing Yi MTR station. Although the rooms are small, they are incredibly clean. Despite being enclosed, there wasn't any strange odor. The air conditioning was excellent, and the soundproofing was also very good. The hotel reception and front desk staff were also very polite and didn't discriminate against mainland Chinese guests. For the following two nights, I booked the Grand Garden Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui for 1500 HKD/night. Seriously, everyone, avoid the Grand Garden Hotel! The front desk staff looked down on mainland guests who spoke Mandarin. Plus, the room's carpet had a stale, mildewy smell, the ceiling was damaged, the lighting was dim, the showerhead didn't concentrate the water, and the hairdryer sounded like a tractor but had very little power. This led me to check out with my children that very night. Hotels in Hong Kong usually have a no-refund policy once booked, but I still checked out that night. The next morning, I returned to Rambler Oasis Hotel. It really proves the saying, 'there’s no appreciation without comparison.' Hong Kong is a difficult city to review. On one hand, it's a prosperous economic zone. On the other hand, many Hongkongers have a strong sense of superiority. A large number of Hongkongers look down on mainland guests who speak Mandarin, and mainlanders can experience discrimination. We encountered many eye-rolls; if we spoke a little loudly on the MTR, everyone around us would glare. If we stood in the wrong place in a queue, staff would snap at us. They are unfriendly and completely impatient with mainland guests. However, if you speak Cantonese or English, their attitude does a complete 360-degree turn. At MTR stations or waiting areas, squatting and eating are not allowed. If a child gets tired and squats down to rest, staff members will immediately tell them to stand up. MTR prices are also much higher than on the mainland; a single trip to Central or further places can cost 15 HKD. There are also buses near the hotel, with a bus stop about a 7-8 minute walk away. In short, if I visit Hong Kong again, Rambler Oasis Hotel will definitely be my first choice.

Ssmallyellow bbReally love the scenery here! It's my second time back! The breakfast selection is also quite extensive, and it offers great value for money. Facilities: I really liked the gym! The swimming pool is absolutely amazing on a sunny day. Cleanliness: Hong Kong's major hotels generally have good cleanliness, and this one is no exception. Environment: I love it here. It's great for walks around, and it's easy to get some beautiful photos. Service: The staff were friendly, communication was smooth, and they were very patient.

They gave the kids so many little gifts, and the view from our room was absolutely incredible, with a breathtaking panoramic of Victoria Harbour. Plus, the 'grab and go' healthy snacks were a fantastic touch, and the quality of all the food was really impressive. Highly recommend!
