"This was our first trip to Hong Kong with the kids, and what we were most satisfied with was the hotel. It was conveniently located, in a bustling area, had beautiful views, and the room was spacious and well-equipped. Our family of four was very comfortable. The front desk staff kindly upgraded us to a higher floor city-view room for free, which the kids loved. We could enjoy the night views of Victoria Harbour and Kowloon right from the hotel. We are extremely satisfied. Hopewell Hotel will definitely be our go-to choice for future Hong Kong trips. Thank you, Hopewell, and thank you, Trip.com! 💝💝💝"

Grand Bay View Hotel

The room was at the end of the hall and larger than I expected. The hotel is close to the sea with a private beach and a swimming pool. The views from the hotel are great, perfect for a vacation. Transportation isn't very convenient, but there's a shuttle bus to the subway station. The facilities are quite old but generally clean, though the hygiene could still be improved.

This hotel is located in Tuen Mun. It's very convenient, taking about 30 minutes on the A33X bus directly, with no transfers needed. The room had everything we needed. The lobby is spacious, and even late at night, there were young people gathering, giving it a trendy vibe that I really liked.

Two MacDonnell Road

My stay at Two MacDonnell Road definitely lived up to its reputation. Located in Mid-Levels, it's an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle; it was incredibly quiet at night, with no city noise from Central at all, allowing for a very comfortable sleep. The room was much more spacious than most Hong Kong hotels, laid out like an apartment with a small living area and a basic kitchenette. There was plenty of space to spread out my luggage, making for a very relaxing stay. The view was a definite highlight. From a high floor, the expansive city and greenery views were stunning, both day and night. The staff were also polite. However, there were clear downsides: transportation isn't very convenient. It's a bit of a distance from the MTR station, so getting around mainly relied on taxis or the shuttle bus, which could be a bit troublesome when returning at night. The soundproofing was also quite poor. Overall, it's a great choice for those seeking peace and quiet, comfortable accommodation, and who aren't planning to rush through tourist sites every day. It's well-suited for business trips or short stays of a few days. If extreme convenience is your top priority, you might want to reconsider.

Rambler Garden Hotel

This time in Hong Kong, I chose the Rambler Garden Hotel in Tsing Yi, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations, especially for travelers who prioritize value for money and convenient transportation. Location and Transportation: The hotel is situated on the southern coast of Tsing Yi. Although it's a bit far from the city center, transportation is very convenient. From Hong Kong International Airport, you can take the Airport Express to Tsing Yi Station, then transfer to a minibus, which gets you there quickly. There's also a bus stop right downstairs. Room and View: The room isn't small by Hong Kong standards. It was clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping. Facilities were complete, including a TV, a mini-fridge, a hairdryer, and an electric kettle.

Mong Kok's travel ceiling! Royal Plaza Hotel made my entire Hong Kong trip comfortable and healing. I stayed at the Royal Plaza Hotel throughout my self-guided trip to Hong Kong, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. I simply must write a detailed review. The room was cleaned daily by dedicated staff, with impeccable hygiene control. The entire room was spotless, clean, and comfortable. The butler service was highly responsive and efficient; when I needed cutlery, it was delivered to the room instantly, which was very thoughtful. Every evening, I like to relax with a bath. The bathtub was clean and odorless. After a tiring day of travel, a hot bath washed away all the fatigue. Downstairs, there's direct access to Mui Wah Bing Tang, offering authentic Hong Kong-style food readily available and delicious, making dining out extremely convenient. What surprised me most was the location: the hotel is seamlessly connected to Grand Century Place, and Mong Kok East Station is right outside. Taking the MTR to major popular spots like Ocean Park, Disneyland, Central, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Causeway Bay was a breeze, with no need to worry about transportation. In Hong Kong, where space is at a premium, the rooms are spacious and wide, providing maximum comfort, suitable for both family trips and solo travelers. Two small, heartwarming suggestions for the hotel's improvement: Currently, the cutlery and bowls provided are a bit small. It was slightly inconvenient when I occasionally cooked Samyang Buldak noodles at night. If larger instant noodle bowls could be added, it would better cater to the needs of young guests. Also, if a stainless steel caddy could be installed on the bathtub, allowing for a glass of wine, aromatherapy, or a book while bathing, the ambiance and experience would be even better. Overall, it's impeccable. Hardware, service, and location are all top-notch. I will prioritize choosing this hotel again for my next trip to Hong Kong. I sincerely recommend it to all visitors to Hong Kong!

Hong Kong Coliving Space (Guesthouse)

The front desk staff inexplicably asked me to leave a good review even before I checked in. After I finally checked in, I found out I was assigned to an upper bunk, which was okay, I guess. But I think they could do a better job with safety measures. There's no safety rail on the upper bunk, and it would be really bad if someone rolled off. That's just my safety suggestion. When I checked out in the morning, it was quite an eye-opener. They tried to give me back Hong Kong dollars for the 100 RMB deposit I paid last night, but I pointed it out and they did return the correct amount. And just as the reviews mentioned, they charged a cleaning fee, which was over 20 yuan.

The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong

9,2/10
Very Good

HKKinheiwong
Our stay at The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong was an incredibly delightful and relaxing getaway. The most striking feature of the room was undoubtedly the floor-to-ceiling window. The panoramic views of the magnificent seascape and lush green islands were simply breathtaking. Whether it was watching the shimmering ocean in the morning or simply relaxing on the window-side sofa in the afternoon, it was incredibly peaceful. Seeing my family leisurely admiring the sea view by the window, or my child comfortably sprawled on the spacious, soft bed watching cartoons, these moments of tranquility and relaxation are truly the most precious parts of a vacation. The interior design of the guest room also deeply impressed me. The overall color scheme of warm light wood tones paired with soft Morandi green created a natural yet sophisticated ambiance. The space was bright and spacious with excellent flow. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, offering just the right balance of support and softness, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The in-room amenities were complete and modern, with an oversized wall-mounted TV providing great entertainment for the kids. In summary, The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel not only boasts unparalleled ocean views but also demonstrates a high standard in room design and comfort. It's perfectly suited for family trips or travelers looking to escape the city's hustle and bustle for some rest and relaxation. This is definitely a high-quality hotel I would love to visit again.

Regal Kowloon Hotel

8,1/10
Posted on Aug 5, 2026|Superior Room
CNAnonymous User
The hotel's location is excellent, situated in a quieter area of Tsim Sha Tsui East with less foot and vehicle traffic, unlike the more crowded popular areas in Kowloon. It's about a five to six-minute walk to Exit P of Tsim Sha Tsui East Station, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it suitable for guests who prefer a peaceful stay. The downside is the large number of guests on weekends. When we arrived around 4 PM, there were several long queues at the front desk, and checking in took a considerable amount of time. The hotel elevators also sometimes had long waits, so the experience during peak hours was just average. Since the hotel is over forty years old, the hardware and decor naturally can't compare to newer hotels in mainland China. Although we were upgraded to a larger family room with two beds approximately 1.5 meters wide, the overall impression is still a bit dated. It would be more objective to appropriately lower expectations regarding the newness of the facilities before checking in.

Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong

9,6/10
Excellent

A perfect experience! We originally booked a Deluxe Seaview King Room, but the hotel upgraded us to an Executive Seaview Suite and, as per our request, provided a twin-bedded suite. The lady who checked us in was very gentle, and the check-in process was incredibly smooth. I can't sleep on soft pillows, and the Four Seasons has always remembered this, providing me with a firm pillow and proactively asking if I wanted to switch to a harder mattress – very thoughtful. The welcome amenities from the hotel were also very generous, including pineapple cake, pineapple buns, and milk tea cookies. My friend and I both agreed they were delicious. The welcome fruit was incredibly fresh, and the grapes had just the right amount of sweetness; even as someone who doesn't like sweets, I ate a lot. The mini-bar in the suite was also complimentary, and my favorites were the chips and coconut juice. We also visited the Argo bar. Even on a Saturday night, it wasn't overly crowded, and the Hong Kong Punch was impressive. Our booking included breakfast, and we chose the à la carte restaurant. I loved the waffles and bircher muesli, and my friend highly praised the Japanese set meal she ordered. All in all, a perfect hotel and a perfect experience.
