sarahtsangThe room was at the end of the hall and larger than I expected. The hotel is close to the sea with a private beach and a swimming pool. The views from the hotel are great, perfect for a vacation. Transportation isn't very convenient, but there's a shuttle bus to the subway station. The facilities are quite old but generally clean, though the hygiene could still be improved.

JinjindezhuazhuniThis hotel is located in Tuen Mun. It's very convenient, taking about 30 minutes on the A33X bus directly, with no transfers needed. The room had everything we needed. The lobby is spacious, and even late at night, there were young people gathering, giving it a trendy vibe that I really liked.

My stay at Two MacDonnell Road definitely lived up to its reputation. Located in Mid-Levels, it's an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle; it was incredibly quiet at night, with no city noise from Central at all, allowing for a very comfortable sleep. The room was much more spacious than most Hong Kong hotels, laid out like an apartment with a small living area and a basic kitchenette. There was plenty of space to spread out my luggage, making for a very relaxing stay.
The view was a definite highlight. From a high floor, the expansive city and greenery views were stunning, both day and night. The staff were also polite.
However, there were clear downsides: transportation isn't very convenient. It's a bit of a distance from the MTR station, so getting around mainly relied on taxis or the shuttle bus, which could be a bit troublesome when returning at night. The soundproofing was also quite poor.
Overall, it's a great choice for those seeking peace and quiet, comfortable accommodation, and who aren't planning to rush through tourist sites every day. It's well-suited for business trips or short stays of a few days. If extreme convenience is your top priority, you might want to reconsider.

Anonymous UserThe location is a bit far from the city center, but there's a minibus stop right downstairs, making transportation convenient. You can reach the city center within 10 minutes. The surrounding area is quiet, and from the window, you can see Rambler Channel and the container terminal, which offers a nice view. 🙏
The downsides are that some of the hotel facilities are a bit old, and the amenities nearby are limited, with only a small shopping mall.

Anonymous UserWe stayed at Royal Plaza Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights with a group of 4. The location was excellent, with convenient access to public transport, attractions, and plenty of great food within walking distance.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, which made our stay very comfortable. We also appreciated having a bathtub to relax after a long day of exploring.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely consider staying at Royal Plaza Hotel again on our next trip to Hong Kong.

Guest UserThe front desk staff inexplicably asked me to leave a good review even before I checked in. After I finally checked in, I found out I was assigned to an upper bunk, which was okay, I guess. But I think they could do a better job with safety measures. There's no safety rail on the upper bunk, and it would be really bad if someone rolled off. That's just my safety suggestion. When I checked out in the morning, it was quite an eye-opener. They tried to give me back Hong Kong dollars for the 100 RMB deposit I paid last night, but I pointed it out and they did return the correct amount. And just as the reviews mentioned, they charged a cleaning fee, which was over 20 yuan.

Guest UserThe room was spacious, clean, and offered a beautiful view. The pool was clean and comfortable, and the staff were polite, making us feel right at home. The breakfast selection was good, but it would be even better if they added more salad accompaniments and hot dishes. Also, the shuttle bus runs too infrequently, only once every half an hour. It would be much better if it ran every 15 minutes.

Sunny Au (UK)The location of this hotel is within 3-5 minutes walk from Tsim Sha Tsui East station and is within 10-15 minutes walk from Hung Hom station, where some concerts held.
If you are going for a concert, its location is superb. However it is probably the only good point.
The hotel is dated. Our room wallpaper is peeling off with mold ( see picture ). We asked to change our room and they do allow us to change it. However I have seen many rooms having peeling off wallpaper. Eventually we settle one without this issue.
Some front desk staff cannot speak good English. Come on, HK is an international city and Tsim Sha Tsui is a tourist gathering location. I do expect a bit more from this hotel.
Unlike the hotels we stayed in mainland China, this hotel does not provide laundry facility.
Also if you booked this hotel via trip.com , their airport shuttle bus is not included. You have to pay extra for this service or take a bus yourself.
Maybe my expectation of HK hotel is slightly high. But no matter what the reason is, I won't stay in this hotel again.

QJaifeiThe Four Seasons' location is truly unbeatable – it's convenient for getting anywhere. There's a shuttle bus from the Airport Express that takes you straight to the hotel, and even walking is easy. That 'welcome back' always makes you feel so at home. For breakfast, you have two restaurant options, but I prefer ordering à la carte in the lounge. The bread at the Four Seasons is genuinely delicious; I absolutely adore the five-grain croissant (or whatever it's called) at breakfast. And the scones from the bakery are a must-buy every time. The hotel facilities are excellent; the gym equipment is well-maintained and offers plenty of choices. Just eating at the hotel's restaurants pretty much filled up my itinerary. The spa is the best I've experienced outside of Thailand. While there was a minor hiccup with housekeeping – they didn't clear the trash or do the turndown service on time – they genuinely made up for it afterward. I hope the service can be even more meticulous in the future, especially since it's the 'Four Seasons.' I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
