The Qianhe Zhixuan High-View Hotel (Jiefangbei Hongyadong) is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Qianhe Zhixuan High-View Hotel (Jiefangbei Hongyadong) is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Chongqing. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Chongqingbei Railway Station located approximately 10km away and Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport roughly 22km away. Just a short walk from Xiaoshizi Metro Station, traveling to most city destinations is a breeze. Keeping busy is easy, with Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, Yangtze River Cableway and Longmenhao Old Street all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. This Chongqing hotel provides parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"Very disappointed for a no. 3 4 stars hotel. Amenities wise, it was lacking in many areas. The sound proofing was very bad, we could hear cars honking the entire time even though we were on floor 23, made it very difficult to stay asleep. The window blinds were too thin, not able to keep the light from coming in. The sliding doors to the shower and bathroom doesn't slide properly. No fridge in the room. No tissue box by the sink. We could smell the cigarette smell from inside the room because they asked guests to smoke at the stairwell but the door to the stairwell was always open and our room was close to the stairwell. Even tho it's a non smoking room. We could smell everything. They had free laundry provided on our floor but everyone uses it and other guests unloaded our things before the drying process was finished. Ended up losing an article of clothing. The elevators took forever to come. Only positive thing is that it's a very convenient location."

"We stayed 3 nights at this hotel recommended by my friend with nice river view at high floor of 22 storey. This hotel is within walking distance of places of interest such as 解放碑,洪崖洞,十八梯 and 魁星楼。 Many eateries around this area and there was a washing machine cum drying machine where the drying process for our clothing took about 2 hours. But have to beware of those promoting on the streets one day tour where the tour guide will tell you that she will not follow on the pamphlet's itineraries. Moreover, we paid one day tour of RMB80 , ended up need to pay extra RMB221 for 25 minutes lunch for 1 table of RMB35 per pax and some entrance fees. We were introduced the one day tour at the road side while we scouting for breakfast and the sales girl said the tour guide could bring us for breakfast there. But the tour guide said there was no time for breakfast when they got a car to meet the tour guide in a big bus and we had to go hungry until lunch time. The bellhops were helpful as they helped us the book the cab or Didi as our apps were unable to book. One of the bellhops even asked us to pay the driver and actually was deducted from his pay wallet. We quickly called up the hotel to pay back the bellhop. This hotel needed us to pay a security payment of RMB500 where we already paid the 3 nites payment through trip com but they promptly refunded us after we checked out."

"Excellent stay - highly recommend for convenience and great service! We had a fantastic experience here. The hotel has a brilliant sense of style and design, making it feel incredibly chic and modern. The service is top-notch and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, very convenient and just a short walk to both Jiefangbei and Jiaochangkou station. The room size was just right for two people, perfectly clean with daily room service, and they accommodated my request for a strict non-smoking room, which I really appreciated. While it's a busy building, the building management handles the elevator traffic well by splitting the lifts between high and low floors, so the lift speed was never an issue for me. Bonus perks: the hotel offers a dobi (laundry) service and they even provide umbrellas for you to borrow on rainy days. Just make sure to return them when you're done! Would definitely stay here again."

"The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, food street, Jiefangbei, and Kuixinglou. The room offers a fantastic view of Chongqing's river and the bustling cityscape, with towering buildings all around. It's a shame that Chongqing's nightlife is so vibrant that by the time I returned to the hotel each evening, the lights on both banks of the river were already off, so I didn't get to enjoy the night view from the hotel's perspective. The butler, Qi Qi, proactively contacted me before check-in and frequently asked about my needs, sent travel guides, and even gifted a souvenir. All in all, this hotel offers great value for money. You won't regret staying here. Highly recommended."

The room was very clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff were really enthusiastic. GGuest UserI rarely write reviews, but this time I absolutely have to give a huge shout-out to this thoughtful B&B. After much deliberation online, I finally chose this highly-rated place. As soon as I landed in Chongqing, the host texted me a detailed guide to Chongqing, complete with tips and注意事项 (things to pay attention to), and all my worries instantly vanished. The room was fully equipped, and there was a spacious living room for relaxation and entertainment. The washing machine had a built-in dryer, and the mattress was super soft and comfortable. If we needed anything else, we could just contact the front desk and have it delivered to our room. Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The B&B is located in a quiet spot amidst the hustle and bustle, with great views from the high floor. Transportation was incredibly convenient; it was less than a 10-minute walk to attractions like Hongyadong and Jiefangbei. There are also two subway lines right outside for easy travel, and both the train station and airport are within a 30-minute taxi ride. Most importantly, the service was an absolute game-changer and deserves special praise. It's clear that the entire service team puts a lot of effort into running this B&B. Five people looked after just the two of us! The staff were always ready to answer our questions, responded promptly, and were genuinely warm and enthusiastic, which really touched us. Such attentive service made our stay in Chongqing incredibly enjoyable for several days. If I ever come back to Chongqing, I will definitely choose Kongshan B&B again. Go for it, everyone!

The Chongqing Eye observation deck is just a few minutes away, and it's less than a 5-minute walk to the hotel from Exit 5B of Xiaoshizi Station on Metro Line 6. The hotel rooms are new, spacious, and fully equipped, even featuring an 'XiaoDu' smart assistant and heated toilet seats. Breakfast, served on the first floor, is plentiful and lives up to a 4-star standard, offering freshly made noodles and a coffee machine for freshly ground coffee. The Arclight Hotel is right next door to the Westin Hotel, which has a fantastic hotpot restaurant on the 50th floor and a Sichuan restaurant on the 51st, both guaranteeing quality dining. It's incredibly convenient for meals. Overall, I highly recommend the Arclight Hotel; it's definitely a place I'd consider staying at again. Thumbs up! (The photos are of the hotel breakfast)

PpogbackMy stay in an executive room during this Chongqing trip was absolutely flawless from start to finish. It offered an unparalleled experience, making it an excellent choice for a holiday or extended stay in Chongqing. Everything far exceeded my expectations, providing comfort and a sense of calm throughout. What truly impressed and won me over was the Regent Hotel's meticulous and thoughtful service, easily making it the benchmark for high-end hotel service in Chongqing. From the moment I arrived for check-in, the staff were professional, gentle, and impeccably polite. The doorman warmly greeted me, assisted with parking and luggage, and handled everything with gracious humility. The front desk check-in process was efficient and quick, with staff patiently explaining hotel facilities, guest benefits, and local sightseeing tips. The communication felt natural and comfortable. Throughout my stay, the entire team maintained a high standard of service, responding promptly and thoroughly. Room cleaning was meticulous and attentive, with amenities, mini-bar drinks, and local snacks replenished daily. The room was spotless, tidy, and pleasantly fragrant. All requests were handled quickly and appropriately, with attentive service that wasn't intrusive, perfectly embodying the quality of a top-tier luxury hotel. I felt completely at ease and comfortable the entire time. My executive room had an exceptional overall feel, with an open and airy layout and a spacious ambiance. The decor blended elegant Chinese aesthetics with modern minimalist luxury design, creating a sophisticated yet warm atmosphere. The layout was well-designed, and the soft furnishings were exquisite. The warm lighting created a soothing ambiance. The room's soundproofing was excellent, ensuring quiet and privacy, leading to superb rest. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered unrivaled views of the confluence of the two rivers and the Yuzhong Peninsula cityscape. Whether relaxing or soaking in the tub, I could enjoy the riverside view, immersing myself in the mountainous city's scenery. The bedding was soft, skin-friendly, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom featured a dry/wet separation, and premium toiletries were well-stocked. The executive room's exclusive mini-bar was refreshed daily with complimentary drinks and snacks. Various thoughtful daily essentials were perfectly provided, with attention to every detail, making for a luxurious and pleasant living experience. The dining experience was equally outstanding, with dishes that excelled in color, aroma, and taste, balancing both quality and flavor. The hotel offered a rich selection of meals, catering to both local Chongqing flavors and exquisite Western cuisine. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of fresh ingredients, including regular Western pastries, hot dishes, congee, and fresh fruit drinks, as well as authentic Chongqing noodles and pea and meat sauce noodles, full of local character. Executive room guests also enjoyed exclusive executive lounge benefits, including breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour. The food was exquisitely prepared and diverse, in a quiet, less crowded setting, offering greater privacy and a full sense of exclusive treatment. Additionally, the hotel's main dining options, specialty hotpot, and the Two Rivers Bar on the 7th floor are all worth experiencing. The ingredients are premium, and the cooking is done with care. The Two Rivers Bar boasts a prime view of the river at night, offering a double delight for both sight and taste with the evening breeze and delicious food. The hotel's public facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained. The high-altitude heated swimming pool was quiet and uncrowded, allowing me to swim while enjoying river views. The gym had professional and well-equipped machinery to meet daily workout needs. The spa and relaxation areas were well-appointed, perfect for unwinding after a tiring journey. The public areas exuded elegant style, with a sophisticated fragrance, creating a tranquil and refined environment where every snapshot looked like a professional photograph. Overall, my impression of the stay was that Regent Chongqing enjoys a prime location with unparalleled views of the two rivers, complemented by impeccable, thoughtful service, excellent dining, a high-quality executive room environment, and comprehensive facilities. Everything was executed to perfection. With the added executive privileges, the overall value for money and comfort were significantly enhanced, creating a tranquil and luxurious sanctuary in the bustling mountain city. Next time I visit Chongqing, Regent Chongqing will still be my top choice, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to friends traveling or vacationing in Chongqing. It's truly worth revisiting.

GGuest UserI forgot to take pictures, but the river view was genuinely great! To the left, there's a big bridge, and to the right, Chaotianmen. Getting around was super convenient; the subway station is right downstairs. Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, the Two Rivers Night Cruise, and Shibati are all nearby. We managed to hit all of them in one afternoon and evening. The front desk service was excellent, and they provided all the toiletries we needed. The only minor downside was that the bathroom door didn't seal well, which caused a bit of water to spill out into the hallway.

AAnne-Marie BoyeldieuExcellent location in the heart of the lively (and very touristy) Yuzhong district. Very well served by public transport. Easy access from the train station. A very warm welcome from the reception staff. The room I was given (17th floor) was perfect. Spacious, well-furnished and equipped, bright, clean, and comfortable. A quiet and pleasant place if you're not constantly sightseeing. Beautiful view of the city. Very good quality bedding. Very clean and comfortable sheets, duvets, and pillows. Good-sized bathroom. Very clean as well. Good quality bath towels. The wall-mounted towel/clothes rack is poorly placed above the toilet, which is neither practical nor hygienic. And the electric towel warmer wasn't working. The room is equipped with a hairdryer, electric kettle, small refrigerator, garment steamer, and small safe. Bottled water is provided daily. In addition to coffee (in the morning) and herbal tea (all day) available in the spacious lobby with its river view, there is also a microwave and ice maker. The room's Wi-Fi was excellent. The lighting was good, and the electrical outlets were compatible with European plugs without the need for an adapter. USB ports were also available. The central air conditioning was efficient and quiet. There was a large wall mirror at the entrance to the room. Drawbacks: 1. As a non-smoker, and having specifically requested a non-smoking room in my reservation, I found the lingering smell of smoke in the room upon arrival very unpleasant. 2. There was no dedicated luggage storage, as is common in many hotels in China; therefore, luggage was left open on the floor for the entire stay. 4. It's a shame there wasn't a small armchair and table to furnish the small mezzanine area of the room to better enjoy the view and the room's space. Bonus: Laundry service with four self-service washing machines on the 18th floor. Detergent provided. I really liked the drying area equipped with portable electric dryers, which are less damaging to clothes than regular tumble dryers. Breakfast restaurant: this is the only downside. Located on the 15th floor of the building (which houses several hotels). Buffet breakfast from 7:30 am to 10:00 am. The place is cozy with a lovely view. However, depending on the day and time of day, it can be cramped and noisy, too small to comfortably accommodate all the guests without enough proper high tables. As a result, I ended up having to share my table with noisy people chewing and burping, when all I wanted was to enjoy a peaceful breakfast. The buffet wasn't extraordinary, but it was decent and well-stocked. The gym area is in the same room, separated by a half-wall (I'm not even sure I can call it a gym when there are only four machines crammed together with no space around them, and where the food bin and the restaurant's dirty dish cart are also located. Forget about getting a workout in the morning!). It's a shame they don't offer a better, quieter breakfast area for this crucial moment at the start of the day. Overall, the value for money is still quite good, even if it's significantly more expensive than Chengdu, for example, for a hotel of the same standard.

GGuest UserAs a Marriott 'boutique' brand, the Moxy Chongqing truly exceeded my expectations! The overall vibe is relaxed and vibrant. On the 29th floor, there are arcade games and board games, so waiting to check-in was far from boring. The room design is very thoughtful; the folding table and coat hooks are practical and save space, and there are plenty of USB ports, making charging super convenient. The 24-hour gym and self-service laundry room are such thoughtful touches – no worries at all about laundry when you're on a business trip or vacation. The breakfast spread is rich and varied, even offering local Chongqing noodles, really showcasing the local flavor. The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive to requests, and the late check-out option was a very humane touch!

AAnonymous UserExcellent service. Excellent location. Near the BRT (which we took only once). The service apartment is located in a block (that also had another hotel entrance), where the entrance to Fandiao is hidden from the main road. But aside from that, the building is noticeable and is the first tall building just before the viewing deck for the Qiansimen bridge and just before Hongyatong, as traffic flows (one way). My specific booking for this room was for a Saturday night - a one night extension - and we chose the Hongyatong view, as our original room was already booked. We could see the massive crowds from our window view out there at and around Hongyatong and on the Qiansimen Bridge on the May 1 weekend But the previous 4 nights, we were booked under my husband's name, and that room allowed us to see the drones show from the comfort of our large and beautiful room. That first room had a wall-to-wall window, that allowed us a view of the river, a block of apartments right in front of us, and some street views. There are pros and cons to different rooms. The drone show is on weekends. If you are not on weekends, the HongYa Tong view is nicer, but only my first room (which was much larger at 40 sq metres) had a long window seat which was lovely. I share a few photos, one with a view of Hongyatong (this booking, and from the other room, where we could see the drone show. Remember they are different rooms. But you could easily come downstairs and watch the drones from the little corner outside the lobby. There's still a crowd, but you could see the drones rising to the sky. The customer service was excellent, for some reason, we were first given paper disposable towels in our first room, and I rejected that for cloth towels which were then given to us. The reception is on the 19th floor, and all the service personnel were willing to please (communicate via WeChat, with translation). And always asked if there were things they could do. Some idiosyncrasies (from a Malaysian view). They have glasses in the room but no cups/mugs for making tea the conventional English way, but the customer service brought cups with handles when we asked for them. No tea or coffee sachets provided but there were bottles of water and soft drinks, which we didn't take. I think it may be the context where soft drinks (in th fridge) were deemed more suitable and glasses were provided more for soft drinks. I had brought some 3-in-1 coffee sachets all the way from home just in case, that seemed providential when we checked in. Corridors in front of the lifts on the floors are motion sensored, so we were at first surprised by the darkness when the lift opened, but we got used to it. You have to decide whether you support energy efficiency or not. 😂 All in, we had a memorable time in Chongqing, thanks also to Fandiao. I would go and stay again and recommend it. Just bear in mind that the road right in front of the hotel is closed to the traffic at night on weekends (and likely public holidays). Plenty of food nearby, and beautiful spots for photos. There's also a Lawson store across the bridge 100 metres away where we bought our sandwiches, buns, oden, and coffee, for snacks.

GGuest UserBooked this for a friend, and he was really happy with his stay. He mentioned the cleanliness was excellent, with staff proactively asking if anything was needed. His first impression upon entering was that it felt very fresh and comfortable. The service was warm and attentive; he wasn't sure how to use the washing machine, so the housekeeper even arranged for someone to come and patiently show him. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth staying here!

GGuest UserI highly recommend the Le Méridien Chongqing, Nanchuan! It's located right in the Nanchuan Wanda business district, next to Line 3's Gongmao Station, making it super convenient to get to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Plus, there's a one-stop shop for food and shopping right downstairs. As expected from a Marriott property, the quality is top-notch. The lobby has high ceilings and a strong artistic vibe, and the spiral staircase is fantastic for photos. The rooms are spacious and bright with separate wet and dry areas, and the amenities are premium. The high-floor rooms offer expansive views and stunning nightscapes. Sara and Daisy provided incredibly thoughtful and attentive service – always smiling, enthusiastic, and quick to respond. The breakfast spread was excellent, a rich mix of Western and Chinese options, making for a perfect experience. It's ideal for both business trips and leisure travel. I was extremely satisfied with my stay!
