Hong Kong - might have seen its glory?
#hongkong #westkowloon is a nice place for first-time Hong Kong visitors. It makes for a convenient base to get around the city. When we entered, we felt like taken back in time though after having been to cities like #shenzhen and #chengdu . The city life in general feels a bit rougher, it‘s noisy and - of course - expensive. Hotspots like #hollywoodroad and #victoriapeak do habe their charme. You need to decide yourself if you want to sacrifice and comfort with your accommodation when travelling on a budget.

Bubble Art at West Kowloon
West Kowloon Park always offers excellent installation throughout the year. In March and early April this year, the Kowloon West Fun Festival displays lovely bubbles in the harbor-front lawn of the park. A design studio, Atelier Sisu from Australia, creates the bubbles.
I came here at night, and it was refreshing to immerse the bubbles with different light colors while enjoying the sea breeze. Spring is amazing.

🇭🇰 Hong Kong West Kowloon station
A short ride on the high speed train from Hong Kong West Kowloon station can bring you to many places within China. However, under their different immigration systems, you will have to clear both the Hong Kong and China immigration. Both entry and exit point will require arrival cards so bring a pen with you and fill in your details. It is easier for local citizens to cross border using their identity cards but for tourists will have to use passports and arrival cards. It is a bit troublesome but since there are different systems in the same place then we will have to oblige with them.

A Glimpse of Hong Kong Island - Part 2
At the top of the stairs, I spotted a traffic light, indicating that even amidst the bustling crowd, there was still an order and a system in place to control the flow of traffic. It was a reminder of Hong Kong's efficient infrastructure and its ability to accommodate the large number of people moving through the city.
Overall, the image of the busy street captures the essence of Hong Kong perfectly - a vibrant and dynamic city that never rests. It showcases the city's energy, diversity, and constant movement, leaving a lasting impression on anyone who experiences it. #Hong kong
