Yonggungsa Temple, Busan
Haedong Yonggungsa is one of the rare Korean temples situated on the seaside, on top of a large rock along the ocean. The temple sits along the east coast shoreline of Gijang-gun, Busan, offering a breath-taking view of a wide-open ocean and rocky coastlines. Inside, the temple is filled with statues, pagodas, you need to first pass by 12 stone zodiac statues with human bodies and animal faces before reaching it.
There is a stone bridge, you can try your luck and toss a few coins for good luck in the pond below. It is a good place to visit to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

To get there:
(1) Take bus 181 from outside Centum City or Haeundae subway stations.
(2) Take bus 181 from Exit 7 of Haenundae Station. Get off at the Yonggungsa Temple Stop
