I had dinner at Ajidokoro Hachihachi, an izakaya restaurant located in the middle of a rice field. It is a counter-style restaurant. I just told them that I wanted to leave the local recommended dishes and drinks to them, and they gave me an endless supply of delicious food. I am grateful that they gave me small amounts of various dishes so that I could enjoy them alone. The deep-fried dish made with gasu ebi shrimp, which is caught in the Hokuriku region, was amazingly delicious. Both the landlady and the owner were very kind, and I would like to go to Fukui again just for this place.
