Amazing scenary cruise

This cruise is a must if you are in the area! Not only a transportation between Guilin and Yangshuo but a wonderful and unique experience. It's a 4 hours trip and you have lunch included. We took the 4 stars boat in VIP and I would say is worth it. You can book a ticket with an agency or buy the tickets at the tourist office where you will sabe some money. Guilin's peole are very kind and you can find amazing places with top views. Yangshuo has a vibe that not many places have! The ticket cost RMB65 for a journey of 1.5 hours. The boat is quite comfortable with a lower and upper deck. The cruise along the Li river covers most of the mountains surrounding Guilin and the Elephant Trunk Hill. There are snacks and beverages available for sale but recommended to bring your own beverages or snacks on the boat. Besides explaining about the scenic sights, the tour guide is also busy promoting food and beverages and souvenirs for sales. A ride through cruise in Li river is one of the most suggested activity when I checked before going to Guilin 🛥. The trip is from Guilin to Yangshou and it takes around 4 hours ⏰. I booked it through a travel agent and it costs around 480 for upper deck 4 star cruise with lunch 🍜🍲🍱. And from yangshou evening they took me back to Guilin by road. 20 kilometres southeast of Guilin lies a tranquil little ancient town: Daxu. It sits on the bank of the Li River, and it’s main alley stretches to at least 2.5km long. 🌟 Highlights: The largest ginkgo tree in Ginkgo Village is in Datongmuwan Village, where there is a large area of ginkgo trees. Unfortunately, when we went there on November 28, the leaves were not yellow enough. 🚉 Transportation: Take a taxi from Guilin North Railway Station. It takes a little more than 1 hour if it is not rush hour. You can also book a small group tour on Trip.com for CNY 120 per person, including admission tickets. There were only 4 of us in the group that day. We were picked up at Guilin North Railway Station, which was like a private tour. 👍 Recommended: You must try the ginkgo chicken soup. It tastes good. 👎 Not recommended: Don't go to Xiaotongmuwan Village. The ginkgo trees are small, and there are people guarding the entrance of the village. In late November, the early winter in Guilin is still as cool and pleasant as late autumn. There is an ancient stone bridge on the edge of Baitian Village, which is small and quaint. An old tree by the bridge has lost all its leaves just after the beginning of winter, leaving only a few withered old branches stretching out to the sky. The old people in the village said that the stone mountain behind the village used to be the territory of bandits, and now only four fort gates remain in the mountain depression, so I went to see them. After climbing the mountain behind the village for less than ten minutes, I saw the first stone fort gate, which is well preserved. The city wall spreads its wings and blocks the mountain road, which is the main gate. After passing this gate, you will enter a gentle mountain depression, where there are weeds and red firethorn trees everywhere. The mountain people call it small hawthorn, which can help digestion and lower blood pressure, blood sugar, and blood lipids. After climbing up the mountain depression again, the ancient stone road extends to the second stone fort gate, which is the most dangerous. It is piled up with stones on the edge of the cliff on one side of the mountain, and the top of the gate is sealed with a large bluestone slab. Looking down from the mountain road, it is a perfect place for defense. Looking down from this fort gate, the distant mountains are like ink, and the scenery is extremely beautiful. After another 20 minutes of mountain road, you will reach the third fort gate, which has two stone strips collapsed to block the entrance, and weeds grow in the stone cracks on the gate. Have the ginkgo trees turned yellow⁉️ The photos were taken on the 24th, during the green-yellow stage. There are more people here, 🚶🏻‍♀️ go in from the path of the village house, the ginkgo trees and old houses are very charming. Stroll through the ancient village, where many locals still live, with old ginkgo trees 🌳 in front and behind the houses, making it a great place for photos.
