Anonymous userTour guide Deng's explanations were very insightful and engaging. Because of her explanations, I gained a much deeper understanding of the history, culture, artifacts, and architecture of the Forbidden City. Thank you, Tour guide Deng.

Anonymous userThe Badaling Great Wall is a convenient 30-minute high-speed train ride directly from downtown Beijing. There are options for the northern and southern cableways, as well as a ground-level cable car. One way is to walk up the wall, while the return trip can be by cable car or cable car. Each route offers a different view, so choose what suits you best.

M47***55Universal Studios Beijing is perfect for families who love IPs and crave a fairytale/adventure experience. The core of a family trip is letting kids run wild in the magical world. Planning your route in advance (such as arriving early for popular rides and avoiding peak dining times) and confirming height restrictions can double your experience. Have a blast!

Karlos88Very well worth a visit BUT can be a pain in the butt to get tickets as they have low support for foreigners passports, English and need to use Wechat Mini Apps. Best and easiest way to get tickets as a foreigner is via Trip.com when they do tickets, sometimes they just point you to wechat mini app. In which case, not much you can do. There is a real crown in the basement which people line up to take photos of and was a crazy highlight of the visit. As well as artefacts from when New China was established. The signage and closure of many exhibits was a bit disappointing though, especially when you travelled far and wide. This is my experience from late Nov:Exhibit 2 is paid/non general exhibits Closed exhibits:1, 3, 4, 6, 10Open exhibits:7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19 Seems like No 5 and 10 don't exist?B1 is where all ancient china is, signage not that clear. Enter on ground, and go down escalators. This is where you'll find the crown at the end of the exhibit.

Anonymous userPrince Gong's Mansion is the largest princely mansion from the Qing Dynasty, boasting exquisite architecture, elegant gardens, and rich cultural connotations. It is renowned as "one Prince Gong's Mansion, half the history of the Qing Dynasty," making it a wonderful place to experience history and art. A must-see scenic spot.

关裕年guanyunianApricot blossoms do bloom in the Summer Palace, specifically on the West Causeway. The famous West Causeway is lined with many flowers, mostly peach blossoms, plum blossoms, and also forsythia and winter jasmine. Willows are the most abundant tree species on the West Causeway of the Summer Palace. Their graceful forms, swaying in the wind, add a unique charm to the Summer Palace. If you enter the Summer Palace through the South Ruyi Gate and stroll along the lakeside, you'll find that the drooping branches of the willows occasionally obstruct your view, as if playing a joke on you, forcing you to find gaps to focus on the Fragrant Buddha Pavilion and the Seventeen-Arch Bridge on Longevity Hill.

_TI***mdDid the Mutianyu + Summer Palace tour last week—loved the logistics!Pickup at Regent Hotel (Dengshikou Line 5 Exit C) was super easy at 7:30am. 4 quiet hours at Mutianyu, 3 guided at Summer Palace, then drop-off at the Bird’s Nest (great for post-tour plans).Included bus/guide/tickets; extras (cable car) were simple to add. Perfect 10hr Beijing day—highly recommend!

老少皆宜()Shichahai Scenic Area in Beijing is a free tourist attraction. It's located opposite the North Gate of Beihai Park; simply cross the street after exiting the North Gate of Beihai Park to reach Shichahai. Shichahai used to be Beijing's outdoor swimming pool in the summer and an ice skating rink in the winter, as depicted in some TV dramas. The Shichahai Sports School is located nearby. Shichahai Scenic Area offers many Beijing specialties, including several long-established restaurants where visitors can sample local delicacies.
