Dreamy Dongjiang Lake.

Dongjiang Lake is located in Zixing City, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, 35 kilometers from Chenzhou, about 50 minutes by car; 6–7 kilometers from Zixing City, about 10 minutes by car, with a paid parking lot at the entrance. There are two routes in the scenic area. Route 1 is Xiaodongjiang and the waterfall, with a ticket price of CNY 80, and a tour time of about 2–3 hours; Route 2 includes a lake cruise and a cave on the basis of Route 1, with a ticket price of CNY 180, and a tour time of about 5–6 hours. The prices of both routes include the cost of the bus in the scenic area. The ticket price is CNY 5 more expensive in peak season. I had to catch a train, so I didn't take Route 2. Route 1 starts from the gate of the scenic area, passes through three parking spots, and finally arrives at Parking Spot 4. The first three parking spots are mainly for visiting Xiaodongjiang, watching the river fog and net casting. In November, the river fog is rare in Dongjiang Lake, but Dongjiang Lake is still very beautiful. There are beautiful staff members on the river wearing Hanfu, singing and dancing. The net casting is timed—three nets are cast every 15 minutes for tourists to take photos. You can also walk along the plank road along the river, which is about 2 kilometers long and takes half an hour; you can also take a cruise, CNY 100 per person, to watch the beautiful performance and net casting up close. The cruise only goes to Parking Spot 3. It is about 5 kilometers from Parking Spot 3 to Parking Spot 4, and it is not recommended to walk. Parking Spot 4 is a dam, where you can take a cruise to Route 2, or climb the mountain to see the waterfall. It takes nearly an hour to climb to the top of the mountain to see the waterfall, and about half an hour to see the waterfall on the floating bridge in the mountain.
