Winter Hiking Guide in Western Sichuan

Unexpected Encounter, Snow on Siguniang Mountain ☃️ Originally came to see the red leaves, but due to weather changes and rapid temperature drop, it started snowing in Western Sichuan. I was torn about whether to go up the mountain or change locations, but in the end, since I was already here, I decided to go and take a look. Unexpectedly, Siguniang Mountain covered in snow is also very beautiful, resembling a Christmas tree 🎄 country. 【Shuangqiao Valley Route】 Upon arriving at the scenic area, take the shuttle bus directly to the endpoint, the Redwood Forest, which takes about 50 minutes. Then explore downwards in sequence. You can either continue taking the shuttle bus or choose to hike. 🌲 "Redwood Forest" is at an altitude of 3800 meters, closest to the snowy mountains. Due to bad weather, the snowy peaks were completely covered by fog, but playing in the snow here is also an experience. 🌲 "Budala Peak" has a white pagoda where visitors can pray for blessings. Walking from the pagoda towards the Redwood Forest, the winding road is perfect for shooting scenic road photos. 🌲 "Zhuganaco" is a hidden spot. You need to walk about 1 kilometer from Budala Peak towards the Redwood Forest and pass through an iron fence to reach it. It is known as a secret icy lake. 🌲 "Sigunaco" has a wide lake surface with many dead tree shapes as a backdrop, giving a traditional ink painting visual effect. Due to time constraints, I only visited these spots, which was enough for a full day of fun. Snow-covered Siguniang Mountain looks just like a fairy tale world, offering a unique experience.
