Braving the sub-zero snow to visit Teriberka at the edge of Russia.

Where is Teriberka and what can we discover there? Today, AGtogether will introduce everyone to this place. Teriberka is a small fishing village with only a few thousand residents, located at the edge of Russia. This area opens out to the Arctic Ocean, and in winter, temperatures can drop to as low as -20 to -30 degrees Celsius. This makes Teriberka a must-visit destination, especially when we are already hunting for the Northern Lights in Murmansk. We decided to book a local day tour with a local guide. The excitement began as soon as we got on the bus when the guide informed us that there would be a snowstorm today. We had to manage our time well to return before evening, or we might get caught in the storm. The journey from Murmansk to Teriberka is about 139 kilometers, filled with mesmerizing snowy landscapes along the way. Our first stop was to ride snowmobiles to a snowy waterfall and a beach. Throughout our journey, we faced a snowstorm head-on, which was thrilling. After taking plenty of photos, our local guide took us on a tour of the fishing village, the old harbor, and we enjoyed fresh seafood. It was an unforgettable day. Despite being a small village, Teriberka left a lasting impression on us. P.S. On our way back, we indeed encountered a snowstorm and got stuck in the snow for a while. It was very exciting, but we were lucky to make it back to Murmansk safely.
