Xiangshan Observation Deck in Taipei

I visited the Xiangshan Observation Deck in Taipei. Why didn't I realize it was a mountain before going... It turned out to be a more serious hike than I expected. But you can reach the top in about 30 minutes. There's a first viewpoint midway, and I was really tempted to just stop there because I was tired. But since the purpose of this Taipei trip was to see the night view from Xiangshan Observation Deck, I decided to go all the way up. The view from the midway point is great, but it's even better from the top. I wanted to see the sunset, so I started hiking around 6 PM. Luckily, I reached the top before the sun set and got to enjoy both the sunset and the night view. The hike was tough, but the night view made it all worth it! And make sure to bring a bottle of water with you when you go up!
