Visitors can take a bamboo raft tour to delve into and learn more about it. Each boat can accommodate 30 people, and everyone is required to wear a life jacket; conical hats are available on board for sun protection, head covering, or photo-taking; during the boat ride, there are spots where you need to duck to avoid branches, which is quite amusing 😂. The guide will introduce the river's ecosystem, including four types of mangroves: black mangrove, pencil mangrove, river mangrove, and olive mangrove; sometimes different species of birds can be seen along the riverbanks. There is a sperm whale exhibition hall here, which you can visit along the way. Showing your boat ticket allows free entry, otherwise, there is a charge of NT$10.
