Climbing up is not difficult, but the weather in Tainan is really hot, so it's recommended to come early or bring a water bottle to make it easier. The horizon where the sea meets the sky in the distance, and the sea breeze instantly makes you feel much cooler. The entire fort looks ancient and charming, and with the surrounding greenery, it's a perfect spot for taking photos and checking in. Inside the fort's exhibition hall, there are some simple historical introductions and artifacts. It's not as heavy as you might imagine; instead, it's like stepping into a corner of time, seeing a glimpse of early life in Taiwan. The gardens around the fort are lush with greenery, and the large trees provide plenty of shade. When you're tired from walking, you can easily find a bench under the shade to sit and rest, which is super comfortable. This place not only has historical traces but also a very relaxing atmosphere, making it feel like you can unwind for an entire afternoon. I heard there are many local delicacies nearby, such as tofu pudding and oyster omelets, so after touring the fort, it's also nice to take a few steps to find some food.
