Tiger Hill Scenic Area.

Tiger Hill is located in the northwest suburb of Suzhou, 5 km from the city center. It is an independent hill formed by the remaining veins of Xishan Mountain in Suzhou. Legend has it that King Fuchai of Wu buried his father Helu here in the Spring and Autumn Period. Three days after the burial, a white tiger was seen crouching on the hill, hence the name Tiger Hill. Another saying is that the hill looks like a crouching tiger, hence the name. The hill is 3333334.3 meters high, with ancient trees towering into the sky. The hill is small but has many scenic spots, and the thousand-year-old Tiger Hill Pagoda stands on the top of the hill. According to the Records of Wu, "Tiger Hill is a mountain with steep cliffs and deep valleys, lush forests and deep bamboo groves, and is the most famous hill in Jiangnan." It is known as the "No. 1 Scenic Spot in Wu."
