Lingering Garden, one of the most famous gardens in the world.

Lingering Garden is located at No. 338 Liuyuan Road, outside Changmen, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. It is one of the classical gardens in Suzhou, one of the four famous gardens in China, and a world-famous example of architectural space art treatment. It was built in the Ming Dynasty. In the Qing Dynasty, it was called "Hanbi Villa" and commonly known as "Liu Garden", and later changed to "Lingering Garden". Lingering Garden is listed as a World Cultural Heritage by the United Nations and rated as a national 5A-level tourist attraction. As of 2022, Lingering Garden covers an area of about 20,390 square meters, integrating residential buildings, ancestral halls, family temples, and courtyards, representing the style of the Qing Dynasty. The whole garden is roughly divided into four parts: middle, east, west, and north, with the middle part being the original Lingering Garden. The current garden is divided into four parts: the east part is mainly buildings, the middle part is a landscape garden, the west part is a large rockery with soil and stones, and the north part is pastoral scenery.
