The experience of checking in at The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen was so good it made me cry

The only luxury hotels under the Marriott brand in Shenzhen are The Ritz-Carlton and The St. Regis. The St. Regis is newer and has a good location high up in the clouds, but its room types and furniture arrangements are really like an apartment, which feels empty. I stayed in a duplex suite and the Caroline suite and didn't like either. So, The Ritz-Carlton it is. The Ritz has been around for years, and the facilities are a bit old, but the maintenance is decent. The best-maintained old hotel is still The St. Regis in Beijing. However, it is still acceptable. The most unsatisfactory thing is that there is no electric toilet. The swimming pool is not big, it's outdoors, too hot to swim in summer and too cold to use in winter. The breakfast is rich, better than ordinary Marriott hotels, but the taste is average. Normally, The Ritz-Carlton does not provide breakfast, but they usually offer it to regular guests. The front desk supervisor has the authority to give it, so don't argue that The Ritz-Carlton never provides breakfast. At least in my experience, only a few Ritz-Carlton hotels don't provide it. Overall, for a short stay during a business trip or vacation, The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen is still a good choice. It has a good location with many malls and restaurants around.
