Staying at the Ritz-Carlton always ensures a good night's sleep lol

I stayed there before the Chinese New Year this year, it opened in 2009, and many people think the interior is outdated, giving off a 'hall within a hall' vibe. Having just moved house and finished a project, I wanted to take a set of warlord-themed photos, so I chose it for my staycation before the Spring Festival. The three-story atrium was full of New Year's atmosphere, with three strings of lanterns hanging high, and a huge red envelope tree in the middle of the hall, which at night gave off a 'hall bathed in red' sensation. The deluxe king room I stayed in offered more privacy compared to other room types. Inside, there was a large wooden screen separating the living room from the bedroom, with wardrobes on both sides of the screen; the entrance had a spacious foyer, providing ample buffer space between the room and the corridor. Surprisingly, the interior style was not the dull officialdom style, but rather a medieval feel. This was first reflected in the room's color scheme, with dark brown (original wood floors, cabinets, screens, coffee tables, and desks) + mustard yellow (sofa, curtains, lighting) + beige (wallpaper, carpet) creating a nostalgic retro atmosphere. Green and blue elements (bedding, porcelain, plants, carpet patterns) added a lively modern touch and depth, while the combination of leather and wooden furniture with some ceramic and mirrored decorations achieved an elegant balance. The bathroom was excessively spacious as always, although the toilet was not smart, but that was okay; the bathtub was frame-style, equipped with a bath towel pillow and towel rack, very considerate, especially for someone like me with cervical fatigue; the toiletries were from Asprey. You can always trust Ritz's bedding, very comfortable lol. In recent years, my sleep quality has been particularly poor, especially when traveling in hotels, but Ritz really always ensures a particularly good sleep. I only had breakfast at the restaurant, at the FLAVORZ all-day dining restaurant on the second floor. The food distribution area was very extensive, with good crowd flow management. The variety was decent, catering to different regional tastes, with tasty congee and rice noodle rolls, and freshly squeezed juices neatly displayed in cups in the fridge, which was quite special. The service was the usual friendly and attentive Ritz style, with very kind staff always ready to offer various kinds of help. Compared to some stylish and avant-garde hotels, if the service foundation is not in place, the experience is still far inferior to these established hotels, after all, a profound heritage and culture are always there.
