Tour Guide for Kongtong Mountain

The tourist ticket center is located in Kongtong Ancient Town. You can choose to take a sightseeing bus, cable car, or hike up the mountain. There are three entrances for hiking: East Gate, South Gate, and West Gate, with the East Gate being the best option. Duration: Hiking all the way to Xiangshan Temple and then returning takes about 6 hours. The most economical route is to take the sightseeing bus to Zhongtai, then hike to Xiangshan Temple, and return to Zhongtai to hike down to the East Gate, taking a total of 5.5 hours. Travel Tips: Focus on visiting the Imperial City, Leisheng Peak, and Qipan Ridge. It is not recommended to hike from the East Gate to Zhongtai as it is very tiring. Accommodation: It is recommended to stay in the downtown area of Pingliang City, near New Century Shopping Plaza or Century Jinding Shopping Plaza.
