I came across a homestay called Shangshan Xiaoyin in Pingjiang while browsing online with a friend, and since it was the weekend, we decided to go for a walk in the countryside. We arrived at the homestay with excitement and anticipation. The staff welcomed us warmly, and there was even a sightseeing car available for rides. I must say, the spring scenery is indeed enchanting. The rapeseed flowers and cherry blossoms along the road were blooming in succession, with the collision of gold and pinkish-white, paired with the fresh green of the new leaves on the trees, making us feel as if we had stepped into an isolated paradise. Here, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, we could fully enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature, which is truly one of life's great pleasures. Walking on the country lanes, breathing the fresh air, and feeling the simplicity and peace of the countryside, it was as if we were in a dreamlike world. Although it rained a little on the second day, drinking tea behind the glass and watching the village in the misty rain was also comforting. Here, you can also taste authentic farmhouse cuisine, with fresh vegetables and green organic ingredients. The service is excellent, and if you don't want to go out, they can deliver the food to your room. The taste of the dishes is also very good, allowing us to enjoy this rare warmth. Stepping outside, you can hear the sound of the spring water, as if searching for the soul's final resting place. I heard that during the Qingming Festival, you can come here to pick tea. If I have time, I will come back to experience it again!
