Although many people rush to Jiufen for a day trip, if you want to leisurely experience the quiet mornings and evenings of Jiufen, I recommend staying for a night! For solo travelers, I recommend staying at Jiuwu • Jiufen Capsule Hostel. The location is very convenient, right on Jiufen Old Street. You can check in by yourself, and there is a kitchen and common area in the lobby. The shower room is on the lowest floor. The beds are clean and spacious, and very private. When I went, it was a rainy winter, so there were only three people. There is also a terrace and large windows to enjoy the view.
