Tochigi | Time slip back to childhood... Renovating an elementary school

All elementary schools were so small... When I went back in as an adult, the ceilings were low and the chairs and desks were so tiny. It was a place that made me feel like I'd really grown up. This is "The North Wind and the Sun," a renovated version of the old Toda Elementary School. It's a place where you can enjoy food and art. Each classroom has been turned into a restaurant cafe or art space. You can enjoy strolling around the school as if you were a child again. At the restaurant cafe, you can eat dishes made with plenty of locally grown vegetables and ingredients. This place is run as a place where people with disabilities can also work. And there are even goats at the edge of the schoolyard, which doubles as a parking lot!
