Feeding the deer in Nara

Nara Park is one of the must-see areas in Nara City. It is a nice place to see hundreds of deer roaming freely. Feeding the deer is one of the highlights when visiting the park. Some deer are aggresive tho, they will be chasing you if they smell the crackers, which you can buy around the park for 200 yen. When you bow your head to the deer, they bow back to you. Getting there: From Kyoto, take the JR Nara Line from Kyoto Station to JR Nara Station. Miyakoji rapid trains depart every 30 minutes, and the trip takes about 45 minutes one-way.
