A lesser-known hiking reality version of The Wizard of Oz in Mexico

||The weather has been clear lately, making it especially suitable for going out for a hike! I drove with a friend to the Chipinque area on the outskirts of Monterrey, Mexico. It is a national park, and from the top of the mountain, you can overlook the entire city of Monterrey. The park is all natural except for basic buildings and facilities. Hiking up and down the mountain, you are accompanied by the chirping of birds and the occasional strange noises made by small animals darting through the trees. On the way up and down the mountain, you'll also meet some like-minded hiking enthusiasts. It's really a real-life version of The Wizard of Oz‼️ Don't miss out if you love nature🍃 📍Location: Chipinque National Park, near Monterrey, Mexico 🚗Travel time: It takes about 15-20 minutes to drive from the city center to Chipinque National Park. 📶Mobile signal: There are some places on the mountain without signal, some places with signal, and some places with weak signal. 🏃There's no need for navigation on the mountain, and you can also drive up the mountain via the winding road. The mountain roads have distance and direction signs everywhere, allowing you to choose your route according to your preferences. There are areas for visitors to rest halfway up the mountain. There are many locals who hike, some with families, some with pets, so there's no need to worry about getting lost. ⚠️It's quite cool on the mountain, so be sure to carry a backpack with water, some food, and other personal items you may need. There are no shops on the mountain to buy water and food, but there are restrooms at the halfway point and rest areas. The mountain trails are natural, and there are also man-made wooden walkways to choose from. Be sure to wear light, non-slip sports shoes for hiking. It's recommended to wear long pants in the mountains, as there may be branches and small flying insects. During this hike, I saw a red panda, but it ran away too fast to take a picture. There are also small waterfalls in the mountains, but due to the lack of rain in the city, they are quite dry and the waterfalls have no water. ⏰Suggested visiting time: Reserve at least 2-3 hours for the trip.
