After a long walk, we decided to find a place to sit down and have a drink. A friend suggested Goat Bakers, a well-known tart shop. Isn't Goat Bakers located on the Macau Peninsula? I asked, surprised. It turns out they have opened a branch in Taipa, near Rua do Cunha, so of course, we had to try it. As soon as we entered the shop, we saw a display case filled with various delicate tarts and bread, which were very tempting. Unfortunately, we couldn't try many due to our limited appetite. The shop claims that their Portuguese tarts are made with Japanese Lan Wang eggs, which is quite reassuring. Since it was our first visit, we chose the shop's signature product, the original cheese tart. It was thick and large, predictably very filling. The crust was crispy, and the filling was smooth and fragrant. However, the tart was cold when we arrived. We believe it would be even more delicious if it were freshly baked and hot.
