A thousand years of time, a sacred art hall, born in the grottoes!

When I stepped into the Longmen Grottoes, it was as if I had traveled through a thousand-year time tunnel and arrived at a sacred art hall. Looking up, the continuous cliffs are covered with large and small grottoes, like mysterious caves, hiding countless stories and secrets. I couldn't help but marvel at how the ancient craftsmen carved such spectacular scenes on this hard stone. How much perseverance and patience it must have taken! I carefully looked at each statue of Buddha, their expressions, postures, costumes, and even every detail carved vividly, as if they were about to come to life in the next second. I couldn't help but sigh, these are not stone-carved Buddha statues, but the artistic treasures cast by ancient craftsmen with their souls and sweat! When I came to the Lushena Buddha, I was completely overwhelmed by its momentum. This tall Buddha statue has a full and round face, eyebrows curved like a crescent moon, and eyes kind and deep, as if overlooking everything in the world. Standing at its feet, I felt so small, like a drop in the ocean. I quietly gazed at the Buddha, filled with reverence and emotion. This is not just a statue of Buddha, but a symbol of the wisdom and spirit of the ancient working people, witnessing the changes of history and the passage of time. Looking at these Buddha statues that have been baptized by time, I can't help but feel a little regretful. Some of the Buddha statues have been incomplete due to weathering and man-made damage, but even so, they still exude a unique charm. I think we should cherish and protect these precious cultural heritages so that they can be passed on forever.
