Yuxue Qingcheng Snow Inn in Lijiang

Like the pictures show, this Inn has an antique ambience, cares a lot about each guest and has an amazing view of new city of Lijiang. Even the full view of Yulong mountain! Breakfast is included, rooms are big, shared areas are great. You don’t get much internet in the first floor but each room comes with its own WiFi. Also, almost every room varies, even if you book for same type of room. Most hotels/inns inside Lijiang Old Town, you need to carry your luggage on your shoulders for a few meters uphill to reach your accommodation. You can also call them and they will carry your bags for you. Manager doesn’t speak any English, yet she will invite you to share a tea (as good host she is), and will try to give you advices about your trip depending on your plans or the season. If you speak a little of Chinese, she will also give you cultural background about Lijiang and Yunnan over few cups of tea. There are few restaurants around this inn, normally the cheap ones are those outside the old town. Few convenience stores are few steps away, and you can get food delivered directly to the inn. Please, keep in mind many inns/hotels in the area don’t receive foreigners.
