✈️ 1hr25min away | The Best Weekend Getaway 🧳

Hey guys! So, during my recent Langkawi trip with my friend, we were surprised to find that there weren't many Singaporeans there. In fact, we only met one Singaporean couple during our entire trip! 
Most of the tourists there were actually Malaysians themselves. I think Langkawi is really such an underrated destination amongst Singaporeans. And guess what? It's just a 1hr25min flight away from Singapore! ✈️
Anyway, we were there for 3d2n and it was the perfect getaway. 
Here are my✨ top 5 highlights✨ from the trip:
1) Mangrove Tour 
This place really reminded me of Phuket. The boat ride was super relaxing and we even got to witness an eagle feeding! We also made a stop at the bat cave which was really cool. 
2) ATV experience 
For just $30, we got to enjoy 6 activities which included an ATV experience. Honestly, the other activities weren't that great but the ATV ride was definitely worth it. Do note that the ride is more suitable for beginners though. 
3) Skycab cable car and skybridge
Skybridge is kinda like the icon of Langkawi. The views up there are simply breathtaking and there are plenty of cute photo spots along the way. I highly recommend getting the glass gondola ticket because it comes with an express pass. We felt like VIPs because we didn't have to queue! 
4) Sunset Cruise 
The vibes on the sunset cruise were immaculate. We paid $60+ for free flow alcohol and dinner on board. The group on board with us was really friendly and we had a great time together. Oh, and there was even a net jacuzzi which was super fun! 
5) SHOPPING 
The chocolates in Langkawi are insanely cheap! I bought Ritter Sport chocolate for just 3.90RM! I also got some skincare from the nearby Guardian which was on sale, and it was only 1/3 of the price compared to Singapore! 
🏖️ There are plenty of nice beaches around Langkawi. We stayed near Cenang Beach and it was so healing to take a stroll along the beach during sunset. 
🚕 It's also super easy to travel around with Grab, we never had any issues calling for a ride.
✨ Overall, I definitely recommend Langkawi for a short getaway. It's such a hidden gem that more people need to explore!
