The best time to visit is from October to November. Tickets are CNY 40, and the sightseeing bus is CNY 20. Opening hours: 10:00–20:00. 【Shache County】 A small town with a rich history of over 3,000 years, where 97% of the population is Uyghur. Mandarin is not commonly spoken here. The Yarkand Khan Palace is worth a visit, with its strong Western-style architecture that takes you back to the ancient Silk Road. 【Panlong Ancient Road】 A 36 km one-way road with over 600 bends, challenging your driving skills. The famous slogan "After all the twists and turns today, life will be smooth from now on" originated here. 【Why Are the Flowers So Red】 The birthplace of the song of the same name, with beautiful snow-capped mountains and canyons. Once a deeply impoverished area, it has now become a tourist destination, home to over 200 Tajik families. 【Bandier Lake】 Originally a river formed by melting glacier water, a reservoir was later built to store water. The lake's deep waters change with the weather and light, exuding a cold and mysterious beauty. No tickets are required. 【Muztagh Glacier】 Glacier No. 4 is a mature and safer scenic area. Tickets and shuttle buses cost CNY 93 per person. Opening hours: 12:00–18:30. After getting off the shuttle bus, you need to walk for about 40 minutes. The highest point is 4,680 meters above sea level, so don't walk too fast to avoid altitude sickness. Horse riding is available for CNY 100 per person one way. 【White Sand Lake】 The north shore offers a great view and a large activity area. You will pass by it when driving towards the Muji Volcano. No tickets are required, and there are fewer people. The south shore has a popular signpost spot. Opening hours: 9:30–19:30. Tickets are CNY 40. 【Kashgar Old Town】 The old town is large, divided into east and west districts by a main road. The east district has a more traditional style, with Han Bazaar Food Street, Flowerpot Bazaar, Sky Garden, and TV Tower photo spots. The west district is more artistic, with a century-old teahouse, Rainbow Alley, Cloth Bag Alley, Antique Street, and Oil Painting Street. 【Tips】 1. You need to apply for a border pass before your trip and carry it with your ID card. 2. Xinjiang has a large temperature difference, so prepare both thick and thin clothes. 3. The plateau has a high altitude, so avoid strenuous exercise and unnecessary hair washing or bathing. 4. The UV rays are strong, so wear sunscreen. 5. Many people take dangerous photos in the middle of the road. Don't risk your life for a good photo!
